All I wanted was for My Husband and I to go see Courageous together before he left me. I just so badly want to see this movie. I want to ask God back into my heart and ask for forgiveness for my sins and allowing myself to lose faith after he left me.
All I wanted for my 16 birthday was for my family to see this movie! And we did go see it! I had already seen it with my youth group so I've seen it twice now! And I'm seeing the way it's impacting my family and my dad! I praise GOD for this amazing movie! My mom and I are hoping it will help my dad be less prideful, and to realize that GOD owns everything! :D
Our whole family attended, and we cried, laughed and came out flying! I loved that it honored the real heroism of men who make their home a place of value, who cherish their children and their wives, who put God first in all ways. This is a healing work you are doing. May God continue to bless you all, and continue to bless the world through your vision.
"Courageous" played up until last night at our local theatre. It was sad for me to see it go, but it did have a great run. Now we're back to the usual Hollywood stuff. I'm not thrilled about that, but the place is a business. "Courageous" touched our hearts and we are SO excited to get the DVD now.
Courageous is a great movie and I recommend that everyone go see it. However, children making a "decision" for God and asking Jesus into their hearts? Did that actually recognize that they are sinners and needed to "Repent and Trust Jesus Christ"? Or did that teacher just make 24 false converts. The Gospel is presented well in Courageous, but we need to serious clean up our christian language. No where in the Bible does it call for someone to "make a decision for Christ." It says repent.
A movie that actually blesses people and makes a difference in people's life. A Christian movie has such an impact on the community. Can we get rid of the filth that Hollywood puts out and get Christian movies into theaters? Imagine if a movie like Courageous came out every week. It could revolutionize and transform this country.
This movie is stright up awesome. God is good. Im a cop and have two sons I love very much. It hit home.
