Let me get this straight: you weren't spawn camping because there is no spawn camping in Battlefield? Get out of the jet. If you see a timer count down from 10 you are outside the play area. Or in the enemy spawn. "Patrolling" the enemy spawn IS camping. There's nothing wrong with it, it's part of the game; but let's just call it what it is. You were spawn camping.

I don't understand the difference you're trying to show between spawn camping and spawn killing. Because he's flying and not sitting in one place? Don't u find the big map irritating? the only advantage is you can see targets on the map, but if you have a good grafix card you can see them from the air and so I think air radar is more usefull

I disagree with destroying jets as they take off. It's not necessarily the pilots fault that they got shot down. It's just being dickish not allowing them to have a chance to prove that they can shoot you down. If you're the great pilot that you think you are then you shouldn't have a problem with them being in the air anyway. You have to remember that other people want to have fun too so if you dominate them completely then they won't have any fun so you're ruining it for them

In my opinion, Wake Island is an incredibly good map and has all those great spots, not for camping, but for making the utmost of the map and enjoying at as much as you can.

I love this map and i will never stop loving it, Installing battlefield 2 again (was a long time since i played it the last time) since my pc can't run Battlefield 3 very well so i guess i'll have to stick with bf2, although i love it too. Some day i might get to try out bf3.

1. Patrolling the carrier is a pretty gay tac, I believe thats baseraping and is a ban on a lot of servers!

@Hydrioful They have an unkillable AA gun on the carrier, it's easy to shoot down a jet/heli that's harrassing your team. I wish you could just spawn directly into the cannon, though, especially in the case of a hovering heli.

And to to answer your question, just change the game to colorblind mode. Help out a lot, even if you aren't colorblind.

@Hydrioful The thing is, unless you are in a Helicopter it's pretty tricky to "spawn camp" the aircrafts. In a jet, you really only have about a four or five second window to shoot down the planes that are taking off, and about 20 seconds to get back in position.

But people who camp the scout helicopters in other scout helicopters... those people can go fuck themselves.
