Nice car, i have done the same, Elise s1 exige body k24 engine type r gearbox, jdm intake (wanted itb but didnt to it) and kpro, its going pretty good, but mine is more loud, do you have any pictures of your car that i can see, i got lots of pics if you want
I will be placing several photos during the next week or so on another forum which will be opened to other members. The thread will be about the total build from start to now.
We are still working at it as well, and experienced a lot of hassles. this is mainly due to the total conversion of everything (brakes, suspension, wheel hubs, wiring, body work (it is now wide body), etc. the main hassles were really regarding Hondata which we could not get going and we finally through it out and replaced it with a local system = Gotech).
Sounds typical for a major conversion like that. Have you dyno'd it yet? My target is around 270whp - 87.5 12.5:1 pistons, billet rods, balanced rotating assy, K20 oil pump (w CNC), Full Ported Head, Stage 2 cams, upgraded valvetrain, Skunk2 manifold w 74mm TB, 550cc inj, custom header (over the top), plus the K-Pro. I have an incredible local tuner with tons of K-Pro experience, so I hope I'll get close. Heading up to the first HPDE today (Minnesota). Are you in the UK?
I am in South Africa and we are 6,500 ft above sea level. We lose 18% power here. The current engine (relatively standard) makes 200 hp atw. I have another K26 engine with Go-Power custom cam and many other after market spares & 12.8:1 CR which I hope to make 270 hp atw at this altitude with the ITB's. I am just waiting for pistons as a tuner seized the first set on the dyno
this is just a video game isn't it?

This car carries speed very well. How much more weight does a K24 add over the base engine to the total weight of the car?

@palefaced1
I am not sure as we made several changes at one time. It may add 50kg?

Men, you are the pilot. The dry sump make a big difference? I have a k24 with a open s2000 oil pump.
