  • only referee to ever be a member of the NWO

  • How can he not remember the Hogan/Sting finish from Starrcade 97? Biggest angle ever and sadly the interviewer does not recall it either to dig further into the botched spot.

  • lol i forgot about him, he had the worst count ever, always looked AWKWARD!

  • Rob Feinstein is a faggot gay pedophile who should be euthanized.

  • nice vid

  • Rob Feinstein is a pedophile

  • he's a scumbag

he's nothing more than a daddys boy who got nepotized in,he's jody hamiltons son and jody hamilton used to work for wcw

  • i think the breathing was/is the breathing that occurs during a lengthy,highly-contested match...at least i think it is/was...

  • Buying WCW and not having a national contract for tv so your product can be seen made it not worth buying would have been waste of money

  • he really fuked up starrcade 1997

  • "The mistake they made is when they tried to make every heel in the territory be in NWO"--- I don't think I have ever heard a better summary of how WCW shot themselves in the foot.

  • @shizzle5150 The NWO was both WCW's greatest asset and one of their long term downfalls.

  • Nick Patrick is a low-life who got money from Hogan for screwing the fast-count in Starrcade '97. No good son of a bitch

  • @Objectioon Ha. Mark.

  • @BenjaminFrankenstein Ha.Idiot

  • @Objectioon Ha.Ha.

  • he looks a little bit like Rod Fontana.

  • just subbed plz sub back

  • Nick Patrick refers to a national wrestling company as a territory because he's old school.

  • @dascta1990 and WCW was a territory of the NWA just like the WWE

then they left the NWA and hit it big

  • What's up with the creepy breathing at the beginning? I know it's Feinstein and all, but still...

  • Do a youtube search with his name and use your imagination.

  • Maybe a shorts clad boy passed by out of camera range.

  • Where can I find this full interview?

  • can someone please post this Nick Patrick shoot? or where can it be found if it's already posted?

  • Could someone please upload this or post a link to it please

  • Nick was the longtime referee for Georgia Championship Wrestling when the territory was owned by Ole Anderson, Jim Barnett and the Brisco Brothers.

  • Then he wrestled for a while around 85-87 in places like Southeastern/Continental, Mid-South, maybe Deep South and some other southern territories before going back to being a ref.

  • does he talk about starrcade 1997

  • No!

  • oh man, I really wish he did. That would've been great to hear his side of the story.

  • what happened at starcade 97 ?

  • Thanx for the info.. i slightly remember that now.

  • Actually it was a few months later and wasn't Sting supposed to kick out at Starrcade?

  • Comment removed

  • You are correct on both accounts. Sting was supposed to kickout but Nick was supoosed to make a fast count. They did neither and Hogan looked like he got screwed not Sting. The next night there was a ref bump and Hogan pinning Sting for ten to twenty seconds with no one to count. Sting won again but again Hogan was the one screwed. Sting should have gone over clean leading to the Hogan Face turn and the destruction of NWO. But the NWO didn't want to die.

  • @Arbyuno Therefore, the NWO died slow and painfully!

  • The reason WCW folded was AOL Time Warner picking up the company when Turner went through a downturn and liquidated alot of his assets. AOL didn't really know what to do with WCW so they sold it to McMahon for chump change. WCW would probably still be around today if that didn't happen.

  • 7 million dollars if im not mistaking, but still doesnt beat the price of ECW. Mcmahon bought it at bankruptcy court for $200k. and included the library wich is pretty much where mcmahon has made most money off of. Rise and Fall of ECW is the number one selling wrestling dvd of all time

  • Yeah, it's a shame that Vince got his hands on all the masters for the WCW and ECW libraries...that pretty much guarantees that all those great old PPVs will never be fully released on DVD.

  • Jerry Jarrett wanted to buy it and so did Eric Bischoff. They didn't want wrestling on the network. Since Turner lost the say he used to have it was gone.

  • That part of it but the problem with WCW at end wasnt that AOL Timewarner sold WCW to McMahon because there were other people willing to but it like Eric Bischoff for example but Timewarner decided to take WCW of theyre programming. Now WCW was huge because of the airplay they got on tv WCW or even WWE with out tv exposure is worthless which is why Vince was one that ended up buying WCW

  • The question was on one of the recent botchamanias. Nick claimed he didn't remember the match, and Feinstein totally pussied out on any kind of follow-up.

  • Patrick was a great ref and a pretty decent wrestler too.

He was the heavyweight champ of the original Deep South.

Not to mention he's a heck of a guitar player!!

  • I used to watch Deep South on WBEK in Augusta,GA. And go to the shows at the National Gaurd Armory around 1985 and 86. Back when rasslin was the best.

  • his father wrestled, owned and booked Deep South Wrestling though

  • He seems like a cool guy to meet. He is my favorite referee.

  • it's actually a really good shoot talking mostly about the background of the business from a ref's point of view.

  • I think this looks like a very interesting shoot. Next time RF Video has a big sale, I plan to pick this one up along with a few other recent shoots (Little Guido, Kanyon, Balls Mahoney, etc. etc.)
