@djorsvik Ah! That's because you're still a young man, which is a good thing. -The clip was done as a tribute to grandma who was 87 at the time. The clouds and sky represents the journey she must inevitably take. But it also represents the distance in miles between us. For she lived in Russia While we live in America. The last scene represents our goodbyes; For we were coming back home, and since we were both aware that this would be last time we will see each-other it was an emotional moment.
I've got no idea what this tune is, it is not the 'Living Years' song I was looking for, but it blew me away anyway!
What a stunningly beautiful tune. Can anyone tell me anything about this? Who plays it, what it's called, who composed it - where I can get the sheet music for it!?
The song I heard when I played this video wasn't The Living Years by Mike and the Mechanics. When I listened to it, there was a completely different tune playing. It was a piano instrumental of some sort.
I don't know what happened, but maybe there was a glitch of some kind.
Boy did this hit home when my mom died even tho we were really never close. Forgive those that you think did you wrong and you will be a better person for it...sure did me! Peace Love and Light...............
Mike and the Mechanics were really a good group. I loved their songs. I tell my mom I love her everyday. Thanks for reminding me to be more attentive. Just remember nothing in this world is insignifigant.
Nicely done, I love this song, I do cry to it lol, I feel that I could have spent more time with my love ones who have passed, but I know they are still within me.
Beautiful song. Beautiful video.

Beautiful. Did your grandmother get to see this before she died?
sandyk912 10 months ago
my guess is that you had to change the song because of the copy write laws. Still an interesting video

In fact I just played it again, and it's still that pretty piano tune, not 'The Living Years'.
I wish I knew what this tune was and who plays it.
