These people were behind us. me and my dad just got done from our group out of the oregon caves and the ranger or guide what ever and the rest went on the shorter trail I told my dad I wanted to go on the one to the left. I've lived in the woods on Caves Highway for 32 years. I have been an avid backpacker/explorer here for all 32 years on foot, dirt bike, mountain bike and four wheeling it. I've been cutting all our firewood (only source of heat) in the backwoods surrounding the caves and, as a spelunker, have been searching for new caves in the area for as many years.
I have never encountered bigfoot or anything like it (him/her?).
I forgot to add that I used to work at the Oregon Caves for many years as did all three of my sons as guides, maintenance etc. I also installed the telephone system inside the caves as well as in the Oregon Caves Chateau. I've probably spent more time in the last 32 years at the monument than anyone that I know of.
Dr. Matthew Johnson I wasn't happy about seeing my sighting of Limpy I had in 2003, in the After Dark Newsletter (put out by Art Bell now Coast to Coast AM) and you claiming it as yours. We never took anything away from you when you were the leader of the Southern Oregon Bigfoot Society, why after you left "resigned" the group would you claim my sighting as yours? We are still active Sasquatch researchers here in Southern Oregon and give the credit where it's deserved!
Dr. Johnson is for real. He had everything to lose by claiming he had a sighting. He's a clinical psychologist for christ's sake. I lived in Selma / CAve Junction for 8 yrs till i moved here to AZ.
One time my dad was camping at 8 dollar and heard what sounded like boulders being tossed down the hill in the middle of the night.
he talked to a ranger the next day and he told my dad that it was either a bear tipping over rocks for food or bigfoot.
I dont know what else could toss giant boulders but.... who knows.
I lived on takilma rd for a while and heard some scary things, but that is just me.
