  • wtf! he is fucking awesome too!!

  • how the shit could billy fartgan and jimmy yank my chaimberlain say that james n d,arcy had no tallent? james is a member of apc who is a lot more successful than the billy whoregan show that they decided to call sp. eff those ego scrotum chafe douche bags

  • @mikemotonsils Without those ´eff those ego scrotum chafe douche bags´, no one would have ever heard of Iha and Wretzky. Corgan is a fantastic songwriter and he led The Smashing Pumpkins to their greatest accomplishments. And Jimmy Chamberlain is one of the best drummes ever, so hands off of him.

  • love it so bad

  • love the video, hate the song

  • My favourite pumpkin. <3 James you are such a beautiful creative man.

  • I love you James!!! :D

  • When James opened the Trash can around 0:23, did I see a copy of Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness?

  • If anyone knows the series of books Tomorrow, When the War Began, I imagine the character Lee as James Iha.

  • Original SP could come back!!! Brasil love you guys!

  • let it come down is my whole life favourite album

  • Smashing pumpkins brought me here

  • I MISS JAMES IHA..I MISS MY PUMPKINS...

  • this song uses autotune

  • oh my 8th grade...

  • I love this song .

  • I like this song because it reminds me of that brief moment in the '90s when James said "screw you Corgan! I'm tired of being sad all the time! I'm gonna be happy dammit!"

  • whoaaa. i never imagined he would sound like that :o

  • I has no idea James had such a beautiful voice!

  • @fucksalt97 apparently you never heard "Said Sadly." James Iha and Nina Gordon....pretty much awesome.

  • i want the original line-up NOW of Smashing Pumpkins

  • he is beautiful in every way..

  • Billy Corgan MUST get James back in TSP :(

The same with D'arcy and Jimmy...

  • would like to see james iha do something with john frusciante and josh klinghoffer.

    see what comes out!

  • @merrybreeder oh my goodness i love you! this is such a great suggestion!

(John, Josh, and James are my 3 favorite guitarists of all time).

    haha the three J's ;)

  • the song is crap

  • this is great, why doesnt he do another album?

  • this is great, why doenst he do another album?

  • the pure masterpiece = James Iha from Smashing Pumpkins. Use a very simple plain words but deep and meaningful

  • I taped this off 2tv and I reckon that was now 13 years..woah..great tune..James Iha, ya legend!

  • James Iha is soooooooo cyoot! The str8 dudes r always the cute onez!-jimmyputputatyahoo

  • My English teacher was his teacher for Film Studies :D His dad also works out every morning at my pavilion.

  • James Iha is amazing, i have not really heard him in the smashing pumpkins but his solo music is nice.

  • His solo album was one of the best albums of all time!

  • Screw you guys, Leave my James alone <3 lol

  • James iha has make a mistake not to unite with smashing pumpkins when he had a chance. I think he sucks as a songwriter and without Corgan making all song for SP he is nothing.

  • @bogamolim go to bed Billy

  • I liked The Smashing Pumpkin Zeitgeist, I loved American Gothic, I loved the If All Goes Wrong DVD, I loved The 20th Anniversary Songs, and Albums, I hated Teargarden By Kaleidescope Volume 1 Songs For A Sailor, and I loved Teargarden By Kaleidescope Volume 2 The Solstice Bare. I liked James Iha's Let It Come Down, and I'm hoping he makes another solo album, because I love Folk Rock.

  • Lindo el tema

  • better than Sean Lennon

  • @JonnoThomas not saying much... after all, had the likes of robert plant made child with yoko she could have poisoned the voice of that child as well.

  • @JonnoThomas I totally agree.

  • Who's the girl in the video? Wasn't she a fashion model?

  • Well, I won't be buying this album, But I sure as hell still went out to get the Zeitgeist. This sounds OK, but a bit of a wet fart compaired to the pumpkins (Inc. what they are kicking out now!)...sorry.

  • James I-HA.

  • @lawinnn i-ha, ha-ha! yay

  • If you've listened to SP long enough you have to come to the inevitable conclusion that the best SP songs are the ones that feature Iha on vocals.

  • @c0nzzz thats true

  • @c0nzzz

    No. You're wrong. Sorry.

  • @HotSauceFan

You just have to keep listening.

  • This Song Is A Gols Piece Of Art!!!!

  • Like this a lot more than the current Pumpkins music. Sorry Billy.

  • he's a perfectly talented guitarist. this summery pop rock is just the kind of thing that he actually likes to make as opposed to being told what to do in the pumpkins

  • That's a backhanded compliment. He's a fine musician.

  • hes nothing without corgan

  • @orangemen56 Dude when he left Smashing Pumpkins they lost their melody simple as.

  • He was the soul of Smashing Pumpkins!

  • @EvergreenAstronaut haha good one

  • You guys are such drama queens, why can't you just love the music. This is a good song.

  • I forgot how awesome Iha was. I never had his solo album, but I'm going to get it. And his new one, which according to Wikipedia is about half done.

  • I thought this would suck! I have to say I'm presently surprised by the soft REM like sound. I was thinking he would be all sad and Gothic. It is true, Bill Corgan did help him with this album. I love Iha and all of the pumpkins old and new. Gish, to Tear Garden.

  • what a voice! :)

  • I think James Iha is the first guy I think is good looking and im straight

  • i miss the pumpkins with the originals :(

  • @vkotis me too

  • better than thefutureembrace haha, however I've heard billy helped james with this album. Im not sure how much though, James is releasing his second solo album soon so that will be exciting.

  • why would you ever say James isn't as talented as Billy ??

James is just as good a lyracist as Billy, James is a better guitarist than Billy too.. might not be as strong a voice, but he has just as much emotion in it.

And evidently, James' solo music didn't need electronic sounds to make a song..as opposed to Billy's (The Future Embrace).

  • @EclecticStranger How could you possibly compare Billy Corgan, the music genius to James Iha?

Don't get me wrong,I love james but Billy is by far the most talented musician of all times,if you ask me.

I was really expecting a dark tune from James, not "I'm singing in the rain"

  • james has style.

  • The whole album is good. Lyrics are awesome.

  • I love James Iha, he is so sexyyyyyyyyyyy

  • A very peaceful song

  • love that hair

  • I love James Iha, but hated his solo stuff. Way better with the Pumpkins.

  • i can see where love for cutie found their influence

  • I hope the 19 people who disliked this, clicked it by mistake...

  • I love him so much

  • when people say james is not a great musican its crazy. he had to play geek usa and silverfuck at crazy tempos as well as quirky little fills when he was in the Pumpkins. And now look at SP, they're a joke.

  • well the pumpkins went down even when James was with Machina and Machina II.... but James is still a good musician notthing compare to Billy though.

  • @johnpolanco18 yeah i agree that Billy is far technically superior but James's passion when playing i unbelievable.

I think the Machina's were poor because him and D'arcy just didn't care about the band anymore, understandable given the circumstances.

Oh well thx for the comment!

  • Not a good musician, perhaps, but an ace songwriter. Even his small output within the SP, is so good. Still waiting on more stuff from James.

  • @RyanAndrewDickson And A Perfect Circle.

  • lucky i still have his album..let it come down

  • Hmm... I guess I like slightly upbeat Iha to slow and God-putting-love-in-your-heart Melon Collie Iha. Still corny as a firkin' cornfield though... IHA!!!!!

  • He's in Tinted Windows now, but I like this because its so good to listen too

  • This is really good... =D

  • lol

  • His solo stuff really reminds me a lot of The Lemonheads :)

  • I believe that Billy should give up on the smashing pumpkins now because it was one thing to lose one of your co-founders in James Iha, who helped with the lyrics a lot, but when your original drummer, Jimmy Chamberlain leaves, that signals the white flag, I mean i appreciate what Billy and James have done, but Billy needs to call it quits on the Pumpkins, im really sorry, but it doesn't feel like the SP i came to love and im 18 BTW. TBH with James the Hanson thing sorta irritates me.

  • @dailybrother I was in agreement, until I heard the new Pumpkins material. It's gone in a psychedelic direction which sounds very cool, and Chamberlins punchy, snappy drum sound would be out of place with the material.

I think Chamberlin will be back with the Pumpkins again this decade. It's bound to happen. Let this new record/project run it's course.

  • wow, james style of music is too far from smahing pumpkin.....^_^

but, well, this is james not smashing pumpkin.....

  • i got a good mix cd of this album and pumpkins where he sings, i want a new solo record

  • Lovely song, glad I found the video and the album (i lost it years ago and finally found it)

  • He looks a sneeky bit like Mika Hakkinen

  • wow hes awesome

  • gawd this song reminds me of february 1998

  • @FooFighterBiffyClyro thats my favorite issue of guitar world

  • James should just stick to solo work, cause Tinted Window is so bad.

  • thankyou!!! someone agrees with me :)

  • Actually Tinted Windows isn't all that bad. And the critics all agree...the album is on alot of critics top albums of the year list.

But I respect ur thoughts on wishing James to stick with his solo work, b/c it's good.

  • this is way older tinted windows idiot

  • they are not SO bad they are FUCKING HORRIBLE lol yes he is better by himself or with Billy

  • Mellow. Good chillin song.

  • bakit paa ginamit nung babae sa pagtapon sa basura sa 0:07? weird..

  • excelente, gran músico

  • mabuhay ka james!

  • ui, pinoy oh.. hahahaha,..

well, SP is doing fine now, so let james do his solo career..!!!

  • wow brings me back again 96/97,,always listening this on nu 107..or requesting on rcs..amazing song of james.

  • where can i buy an album of james iha in the philippines?

  • wala na pre...hehe...onlyn na lang...if you happen to find one, swerte!

  • pre bkit paa ung ginamit nung babae sa pagtpon ng basura sa 0:07?

  • fantastic song, which after hearing it on the radio made me buy the album.

Let's react on his merits and not BC's.

both had a profound influence on the music of Smashing Pumpkins, but this is his work.

  • nem sabia q iria me casar +ja conhecia esse som

  • great!

  • great album. much better then zwan, corgan solo or the new pumpkins-crap

  • James' voice and lyrics are sooooo sweet!

  • This album is one of the best I have ever heard. Brilliant.

  • love this song .... 90's rock

  • this is good, but i prefer his guitar playing in the song zero

  • I love Iha's song

  • He may not be the greatest musician, but James Iha was definitely the best dressed. In fact I think he's only second to Bowie in terms of Dapperness.

  • @Aueneye idiot

  • Hes Cute!>>

  • my fav song since 1998..he's from smahshing pumpkin..James Iha (born March 6, 1968, in Elk Grove, IL) he was the group's(smashing pumpkin) main songwriter and he is damn hot!!

  • no he wasnt the main songwriter for SP. and what do you think you are a fucking encyclopedia?

  • Not even close to being the main songwriter.

  • but you gotta admit that he helped Billy a lot with bringing us some of our favorite songs like Mayonaise, Soma, I am one, farewell and goodnight and he seems like a person who would be easier to get along with than Billy despite all his greatness.

  • Why is Mayonaise only spelled with one n?? i never did figure that out.

  • lol thats like asking why they spell Appels and Oranjes they way they do i dont think anyone knows but Billy

  • ...because it can be and Iha decreed it. 8D

  • good voice and guitar but lyric wise he could use some help.

  • iha is better than this

  • thought i would hate it. But i loved it.

  • haha, whatever you think Indie is not a sound fuckers!!!

  • the yin to billy's yang

  • very good song

  • gosh he is so hot.

  • I love James as a guitarist.

Probably best i leave it at that.

  • All songs in his album are classic!

  • This is really great i like it :)

  • wow, i actually like this

  • Wow. This is way different than Smashing Pumpkins. I wasn't expecting this. : P

It's a little sweet for me, but it's still good. I can hear Lennon influence (or just resemblance).

  • Indie rock is not a sound...

  • sorry dude, you don't know what the fuck you're talking about.

may i ask what you listen too, then?

  • its like an accoustic country, soft rock song. Great song

  • what genre is this?

  • indie rock.

  • i can play this song its all e and c minor and a chords

  • I remember College Days :)

Oh god if I could change a thing tonight (lol)

  • one of my favorite records...ever.

    so so good.

  • umm influenced much by the beatles ?! lol good song i just hate her sandels and socks shes wearing that you see when she goes to jame's door....lol

  • this is better than any solo project billy's ever done

  • To timiamt, He's in Tinted Windows now. It's a supergroup with guys from other successful bands

  • well maybe not taylor hanson. but the guy from cheap trick, the drummer and Adam Schlesinger who has worked with James at Scratchie records are successful though.

  • I love this song

  • I did not not know hes coming up with another album, I really do hope it'll be something similar to 'Let it Come Down' but then again...

  • well done

  • this is an awesome song

  • Would anyone know the name of the last song (played during the credits) of The Tesseract? James is listed under "Music" in the credits, so I figure it may be one of his songs. Thank you!

  • ihaって普通に歌うまいね

    優しい声★

  • He's said to be doing a 2nd solo album by this year... and he's with A Perfect Circle currently. And Rumours has it he will be collaborating with Marilyn Manson and the band's next new album by this year. Other then that... His last project was a theme song for a Japanese movie...

  • Thanks for your information. I look forward to his works :)

  • he's my dream lover....i wonder what he's doing now ???

  • James Iha is underrated i say. This man is very talented.

  • イハさんだいすきです。高校生のときこのアルバムめっちゃ聴いてました。だから、高校の帰り道思い出します。

  • oh, god if i could change a thing tonight we won't be lonely... why does it have to be this way?...
