  • Pete, I too am fighting for the people I love and the people I support with addition support needs to have a NDIS. Keep up the good work and good on you for finding a positive approch to a difficult situation :-)

  • Peter, What a RIDICULOUS activity jumping of the bridge with your friend 9 years ago. You should have thought of the consequences of your own actions, now you have a physical disability.

You cannot never do any fun e.g. walk again. Hope you learned your lesson.

  • Message to bretto815 - I hope you are never distracted when driving causing an accident, cross the road without waiting for the little green man and get hit by a car, trip and fall after a few innocent drinks with your mates breaking your neck – it’s so easy to judge, but we all make mistakes, especially when we are young. Let’s hope you never need the NDIS because I don’t think you would cope with being judged!

  • @bretto815 Сэр, это не урок, это трагическое стечение обстоятельств. Уроком это может быть для вас, как стороннего наблюдателя.

  • Good on ya Peter for living life! I hope you get the support you need! Good luck!

  • Exactly. It's rather ironic that the most difficult part isn't the disability itself, but all the bureaucracy the revolves around it when trying to get the assistance and the equipment you need to do what you want: be an active member of society and pull your own weight with a decent job etc.
