  • Our church has been a Host site since 2004. I have personally compared the prices of Angel Food groceries to major and minor Grocery stores. In every case, a person will save more than 50% on food through Angel Food - and it is great quality. Mr. "Retro" below is an uninformed critic. An investigation does not make a person or organization guilty. Mistakes can be made without there being something evil behind it. Instead of being part of the problem Retro, try to be part of a solution.

  • The reviews had me nervous...but I'm glad I decided to see for myself. I was more than happy with every item I got in the signature box. Even more pleased once I cooked it, because it was definitely better quality than what you get in the grocery store and much cheaper. I'm glad I purchased a box last month and excited to pick up another 3 boxes next week.

  • @skateanddonate, you are exactly right! Over the past 2 years, my husband's work hours were reduced from fulltime to only 20 hours a week and those weren't guaranteed. Angelfood is a MAJOR help in providing good nutrition for ourselves and our 2 kids. If you are capable and WILLING to cook, the bountiful blessing box is beyond compare! Their website provides recipes and cooking videos for the less inspired. As for substitutions, in 2 yrs I have only seen this 3 times. What a total bargain!

  • I wouldnt feed their frozen senior dinners to my dog. Nitrites laced, preservative laced, Where is the ministries, their making bank. Under investigation by the FBI and IRS. They poisen more seniors with stuff they could buy at the dollar store. Markets far surpass any savings with the four Wingos claiming income of $330,000. I hope they shut these people down. Carpetbaggin mo fos is what they are.

  • @RetroFishman too bad about you and yours. i disagree !!

  • @RetroFishman what are you talking about? Did you get a bad box or something? I have eaten food from this ministry many times and never had a problem. Their food comes direct from warehouses of many of the same food companies that grocers use, which is why people recognize the name brands of food in the box in this video in the first place and choose to purchase them. You -get a box for like $30 and I did the math, its like $50 worth of food (depending on retail price).

  • No answer? The video above claims that the products are Name Brand and nutritious. The truth is that their are only a couple of items that are brand name and most of the items are high in carbohydrate and fat. Let us try another question, when you pre-pay for your Angel Food order are you told that their may be substitutions? Are these examples of lies? Wouldn't this make Angel Food Ministries a....lairs.

  • Why does the Better Business Bureau report on Angel Food Ministries say that they refuse to respond to the Better Business Bureau

  • Karlkroger, so what if they make a bunch of money. Who can you help if you do not have the resources available to you help. Money is only a TOOL.

  • sweeeeet!

  • Even if your family income is over 100,000 you can get Angel food. It is high quality and about half the cost of regular grocery stores.

  • I found this coupon code, it is valid for Angel Food Ministries food boxes, and gives you 10% off a signature box. Angel Food Coupon Code 10sig98″. The problem is that I believe it is limited and expires in July. Pass it around

  • This will only be valid at the local host site that is sponsoring it. It is not a nationwide discount. Please check with your local host site first.

  • it is nationwide and only available through online ordering.

  • Just thinking how thankful I am for the Wingo's. Thinking of the volunteers that help during distribution days. A lady not having money to help her grand-daughters when they need help, but she volunteers at Angel Food Ministries. She is given food that she in turns gives to her grand-daughters. Did you know volunteers at Monroe are given food if they want it? Everyone is blessed. A dream the Wingo's worked hard to bring to life. God spoke to Pastor Wingo, "Feed my people" He obeyed.

  • Angel Food Ministries is a Ministry designed by God. They not only sale the boxes, but they give away boxes to the needy. In December on a Wednesday night, there were over 500 people that came and boxes of food was given out. They are so unselfish... God has his hand on them. We all must lift them up in prayer...

  • The Angel Food program is a wonderful program that everyone should try. There are a lot of people that slam it and have never tried it. A church in Rockingham, N.C. is doing well with their Angel Food Program. They make $1 a box and with that money they turn around and buy more boxes to help those that can not afford to purchase a box of food.

  • A 2008 report by Ministry Watch says that Angel Food leaders earned over $500,000. Is this true? If it is, I think the Wingo's should give some of that money back.

  • I know the Wingo's personally and they have given, and given. I can tell you this, what ever money they earned, they well worked for and I am sure they have given it all back to people in need... not only that.. they help people where it is needed. I will never forget, we are an elderly couple, they have met our needs, cut our grass, provided landscaping for our yards and given us food to eat too. They never stop given.

  • I don't doubt that they have given much, but I wonder if they could give more. Perhaps they give most of their income away, but I think that might be wishful thinking. Personally I think their salaries are ridiculous, shameful, and sinful. Building a successful ministry doesn't justify storing up treasures on earth. Unfortunately it would seem as though they've gotten their cue from many misguided tele-evangelists.

  • and so what if they "EARNED" that much money... at least they are doing something to actually HELP others, not slapping someone on the head and yelling "YOUR HEALED" nor are they stripping & raping the Earth, or dumping toxic waste to get rich like a lot of the big Corporations that only get thier wrist slapped for thier crimes against Nature and Humankind!!!-

  • We donated meals instead of giving Christmas gifts to relatives this year and I so was happy to help distribute them yesterday. God bless you, Angel Food, for creating this wonderful ministry!

  • :) im a volunteer at my church and its SO much fun to do when your bored and have nothing to on distrubution day! this is a WONDERFUL organization!

  • God Bless AFM In Jesus name...

  • This is a great program. Thank you Angel Food.
