@metal4ever1965 No repaint. The stripes are tape not paint. Because the car was the first white SS they had a hard time matching the new hood to the rest of the car. They infact painted the front fenders and bumper to match the new hood. The car had 9900 miles on it when they Snake it. Most track miles. So the car looked new when I picked it up. I've put another 10000 miles on it and its chipped up pretty good.
if this is ur car or one fo ur relatvies give them the tip to get theyre breaks replaced with Brembos theyre high performance car breaks taht will stop you a lot quicker and more safely and effecientley... jsut a tip ^^
There is two different versions of the super snake. The GT500 is 50 state street legal and the Shelby/Prudhomme version is not, its the full on race version...

You can't buy the Super Snake you can only buy the performance package. So it depends on what colour SVT GT500 you are going to buy. The carbon fiber locations are the front splitter, Side rocker panels, mirror covers and I think the bonnet is made of a lightweight composite. Can't remember if it is carbon fiber or fiberglass. Well just wanted to help you out...

the zl-1 camaro was very very limited like your cobra r.. it had a 427 small block with 600bhp.. chevy? you mean GM? and they didnt copy ford... the new zr-1 is was beyond anything ford has in build and desgin... and your magazine is fuckin retarded... lol iv seen a c6 z06 with dr's a cam and 100shot run a 10.02 and im sure it has hit 9's...and with LT's and dr's 11.0 or very high 10's is very possible.. lol and the c6 z06 is half the price of a ford gt anyways...

modular stang were nothing special until the release of the 03 and 04 cobra's... still it took ford until 05 to make a GT mustang that could even keep up with the ls1 f-body sense 98.. and idk much about the gtx1 whatever the fuck that is.. but ford has there work cut out for them in best bang for you buck compared to chevy.. lol the c6 z06 does compete with the Ford GT and its half the price of one!!!!! the new gt500 are nothing but a joke.. 500+hp and only will do a mid 12 pass... sad...

im just stating the facts... honestly ill probably never even drive a gt500 let alone a super snake... just imo ford needs to get there head together competing with the c6 z06 and the new zr-1 coming out is going to be hard when they keep building damn near 4000lbs cars.. and the only car that competes with the c6 z06 that ford has is the ford gt that is twice as much as the c6 z06....

yea but if you look at the history of muscle cars corvette has always been a class on its own. thats why chevy created the camaro to compete against the mustang. thats why the challenger was brought into play as well. so comparing gt 500 to a corvette is meaningless. in a way history is just repeating itself.

man i miss those f bodies... best track car made also the fox bodies.man those where awesome. i totally agree cars need that total balance now a days. that perfect HP/TQ, perfect body weight and center to gravity,handling,that certain look etc... but you also have to understand you have to sacrifice one thing to have another. F-bodies and Terminators were the last cars to have that near perfect balance. I miss that concept.

yea $118,000, i wouldnt say more bang for your buck, better of saying, more bang for your wallet. and btw if you go ahead and put HP to weight, the mustang and the vette come about even, the mustang has more HP but thats cuz its so heavy, thats why vettes have less, but the torque from stangs are way higher, you can bitch all you want about the vettes, but when it really comes down to it, its pretty much style not performance cuz i say they come about even when it comes to price

im not talkin stock. everyone knows the gt500 is pretty heavy but im talkin after mods and such. Hell everyone knows of the evolution performance gt500 running low 9's with nothing but bolt ons. Like i was saying the z06 cant do it... maybe the zr-1. Not to mention the gt500's block has been known to be able to take well into the 900 hp range with stock internals and the block is capable of close to 2000 with the right internals.

yes but also there have forged internals if i remember right just like the 03 and 04 cobra's. The z06 and the zr-1 are by far better all around than the gt500's and even the supersnake. There has been a z06 in the high 9's with nothing more than a cam, dr's and 100shot.
