  • Nice work! You are so amazing!

  • Hey Bespinben, when I downloaded the songs to my computer it won't let me put it into a file...why?

  • @Lugia283 Um not really sure what you mean. What songs (original or my arrangement), what file types? I'm very confused. Tell me exactly what you were trying to do and then I might be able to help ya.

  • Simply...Amazing..

  • @Bespinben I just looked at the updated PDF, OMG I seriously need to update my music!!!

  • @tonkineseblue I know how you feel. I feel the same way. But through making the piece easier, it loses it's spice. Just get together a band and play ur instruments!!!

  • Could you please make an easier version for this and i dont want to say goodbye because I love the music and it makes me sad i can't play it.

  • @tonkineseblue Well, by definition, you can't play this because it's a duet. However, I've actually done ALOT of work lately fixing up my arrangement "I Don't Want to Say Goodbye". I'm not sure if you've seen it, but go click on the PDF link in the respective video, you'll definitely be able to say some major differences between the original score and my latest revision (particularly at the climax).

  • This isn't complicated, just way too much FUCKING CHORDS LOL! My god is this an 8-part piece or what. Chords on left hand, melody on right. Please...

    But good score anyways.

  • what program did you use????????? PLEEEEEZ?

  • @Ohmygodagiantrock I made this sheet music in Sibelius 6, a very expensive music notation program. I've lately been using Finale for my more recent PMD piano arrangements, but that's nearly just as expensive.

  • @Bespinben our group contains two violinist, a cellist, and a pianist. Viola is not very popular around our school. We are able to play 9-10th grade music. You may add a viola part if you feel that it is necessary. Is that enough information? Or do you need more?

  • @KoreanTmBy Perfect. That's all I need to know.

  • lol, it's impossible to do the right hand cords at 0:16 and at 0:20 , the run down is very near impossible to get it at the tempo. It's all good, but I'm pointing out that it's very hard to accurately play at that tempo. This is just a personal suggestion, but the volume is a bit too high, causing slight distortion of quality played on youtube. It clips a bit at the loud sections if you listen carefully. Otherwise a very well arrangement.

  • @slipomatic I made a revised score to this not too long ago which you can see in the description. I fixed that problem by simply asking to use octave glissandi.

  • @Bespinben

Ah, ok, that's good to know, not that I don't mind it being that forceful, it shows the raw emotion that would be in that final battle.

  • this is TOO COMPLICATED

  • Can't describe how awesome this sounds, so... AWESOME.

  • @TheArnoKun Thank you! Is there any other Mystery Dungeon song you'd like for me to arrange?

  • @Bespinben It would be awesome to get all of them rearranged, but one I'd love is "Refugees" from PMD 1. Sad song, but really awesome.

  • @TheArnoKun I did that one awhile ago already - watch?v=vEoij6EE11Y

  • @Bespinben What kind of details do you need?

  • @KoreanTmBy Well you see, there many different KINDS of orchestras. You mentioned you and your friends all play strings and 1 plays piano, which would mean if I arranged for your group, I couldn't include woodwinds or brass. You see? Those kind of details.

  • i no nothing about the piano, but i really am inpressed by this and i want 2 learn this

  • Pants=shat.

    truly epic

  • @Bespinben Lucky you, I'm still just a lowly junior in high school so I don't know anything about days off. Ever. XP Oh those APs and their long homeworks.

  • @bespinben Almost 2 in the morning for me, but yeah. And I've got homework to keep me entertained. :P What about school tomorrow? ...At which point you say, "What school?" >:D

  • @dregadude I have my classes stacked on Tuesdays and Thurdays, so I can sincerely follow you instructions. "What school?"

  • @Bespinben Same here.

  • @Bespinben Yeah I can't imagine trying to do that in real life.

On an unrelated note, this is an interesting game of leapfrog we're having in these Youtube comments. XD

  • @dregadude I got never better to do at 3 in the morning XD (besides working on "Questionnaire")

  • @Bespinben oic. The things you have to think about... I'm also glad you got rid of the hand-written slide, it seemed a bit jarring to the eyes. And also silly. :P Still lovin' that ending, tho. :D

  • @dregadude Though less jarring on the eyes, it will still be the same for the hands. Octave glissandi are infamously painful (except on keyboards :P)

  • I kind of question the necessity of putting sixteenths in place of staccato dotted quarters, but I see no problem with the revisions. It seems easier to read too.

  • @dregadude Thank you :) I'm guessing you're referring to the top of the left hand of the second piano on measure 5+. That's one area where I felt like fixing the notation error was counter-productive, because you'd think it'd be easier to read as back-to-back staccato dotted eighth notes. However, since you can't have back-to-back dotted eighth notes in a duple meter such as this, I had to write it the way it was.

  • This Could EASILY a a 'Shadow' Dialga theme, has that sense of seriousness that can't usually be capture in the final songs, thus is why Piano is probably a better choice to make the Music~ :3. Bespinben for Nintendo orchestrator (did i really just spell that right? O_O)

  • To all --- I made extremely significant revisions to the sheet of the "Primal Dialga" duet today. There are links to this revised sheet in the description.

Notable changes: (1.) I completely rewrote the entire arrangement in common time; (2.) I got rid of the infestation of rhythm notation errors; (3.) I used a combination of clef changes and cross-stave notation to help eliminate the extreme number of ledger lines in the second piano while it plays the dyad arpeggios. (4.) ...and more.

  • @Bespinben Could you make an easier version of this song that I could play. I very love it and it's one of the best song I've ever heard

  • @poohcom1 Wow =O You made a Youtube account just so you could make a comment on my video. I feel so special :3

I'm currently working on a solo version at this moment. You'd need two people to play the arrangement shown in the video. I hope to have it done soon ;)

  • Comment removed

  • @Bespinben Thx very much, you''re very kind! But by the way How did you know I make an account just to comment you? Guess you've read my mind!

  • @poohcom1 I have a habit of clicking on people's channel page links whenever they comment on something, that way I get a better idea of who they are. When I clicked on yours, the fact that "Date Joined" was Dec. 15 and your most recent and only activity was commenting on my video allowed me to make that conclusion.

  • Do you think you can arrange this into a orchestra? I really like this song and my friends and i all play cello, violin, and piano. Do you think you can make this possible? If not, thats okay too ;)

  • @KoreanTmBy In other words, you're wanting a piano + string quartet ensemble arrangement? I'd like to do this (as well as make a full orchestration sometime), but you'll have to give me some more specific details before I start.

  • This is fucking epic! If only my hands were bigger... and if only I was a higher grade. Only Grade 4 at Royal Schools... *weeps, but stops as soon as replay button is clicked*

  • @CaDeYbOi "If only my hands were bigger..." ~ Well that depends on which piano part you want to play. I require a stretch of a 10th at measure 8 on the second piano, but the first piano, though only playing the melody for most of the song until the chorus kicks in, requires a lot of 4-5 voice chords to be played fairly quickly.

*Yoda voice* Click the button you will.

  • @Bespinben If only I was a very fast Machamp with extremely long arms. We have two keyboards and a piano in our house. My real problem is how fast I have to play those chords in the first piano. BUT I SHALL SUCCEED! EVENTUALLY. I shall become like my music teacher, the guy who once played a duet on his own!

By the way, you said you take requests? I would like to request that song that is played during that "epilogue" in which they explain what happened after you disappear in PMD 2

  • Ok Besp, do you play at Cordner Hall? You play better than my friend who is in level 7 piano.

  • @Lugia283 Sorry to disappoint, but what you hear in the video is actually my sheet music writing program playing back what I wrote. Don't get me wrong, I do write these to be playable, but I can't play this because I don't have 2 pianos. Thanks for the compliment though! XD

  • Just Epic! Great work!

Now I have to look for someone, who wants to play a duet with me : D

  • @voreveryoung I guarantee you a video response if you ever did that ;)

Also, not only would you have find another person to play with, but the duet is designed for 2 pianos, not 2 people on 1 piano.

  • @Bespinben Oh, true I didn't really thought about that... well then I've to borrow a keyboard XD

  • *Jaw drops 1000 miles into the earth* OH MY GOD THIS IS EPIC!!!!!!!

  • @CrimsonDragon298 I hope your jaw didn't wake up Groudon >.>

  • @Bespinben O_O *ground rumbles* Oh no...

  • AWESOME

  • @diabolospin Haha, thanks :)

  • Most epic theme redo ever!

  • @thunderer15 Thank you! :D

  • This is by far the greatest Piano cover for this song yet. It's powerful yet elegant, you mastered it flawlessly.

  • @2009kirby Thanks! I believe the heavy chord usage gave the effect of power while the arpeggios on the second piano later in the song added a layer of "elegance" as you say.

I think I should maybe make a SOLO sheet music for this song sometime though, since not everyone has another piano playing buddy or two pianos for that matter.

  • @Bespinben A solo sheet would be cool:D

  • @Piplupluv2 That's going on my to-do list for sure ;)

  • If it's alright, I have an idea for a new piece. :)

Would you be able to do Vast Ice Mountain Peak in a similar manor to this Primal Dialga piece? I love that theme. ^-^

  • @2009kirby That is indeed an awesome song, but I have friend on Ninsheetmusic (ninsheetm.us) who already has plans to arrange Vast Ice Mountain Peak. I suppose I could ask him I could arrange it instead, but I've done that with so many of his planned songs already that I don't really want to do it again. I'll PM you with his arrangement when he finishes though ;)

  • @Bespinben is there a chance you could get the whole of Vast Ice Mountain Peak into a Midi file for remixes?! You seem a lot better at this than I am and i've only been able to get like 10 bars done without giving up ><

  • Wow! o_O

  • @nicalex27 ^_^ Thanks! Let me know if you think of something new I can work on :D

  • Man this about shoots that song I showed you, prey lewd out of the water.

  • @time903 They're both good :)

  • Does anyone know the name of the song in PMD Explorers of Time/Darkness when you are in the future, and your partner looks at the lights down below the ridge? Help would be appreciated.

  • @PoisonWaffle78 I dug through someone's Let's Play to find the song you were referring to. The song that plays as your partner is looking down at the stockade lights below the ridge is called "Time Gear Remix".

  • @Bespinben Thank you. It's a lovely piece.

  • @PoisonWaffle78 I much prefer "Fogbound Lake" over that song though. It's much more fleshed out.

  • @Bespinben Yes that song is great too. BTW, you gave me the wrong song ><", but that's ok, I found it. It was called "In Fate's Hands". Thank you for helping anyway.

  • @PoisonWaffle78 Actually, both of us are correct. The song I mentioned plays when you're deliberating over whether or not to go after Grovyle while you peer of the ridge, and then "In the Hands of Fate" plays as you are about to leave when your partner then interrupts you to thank you cheering him up.

  • @Bespinben Is that so? Well, sorry for saying you're wrong.

  • @PoisonWaffle78 That's fine ^_^ You were correct after all in saying it was "In the Hands of Fate", so naturally one would conclude that I was wrong. It takes a very open mindset to foresee the possibility of multiple correct answers.

  • @Bespinben Thank you. I've noticed that you're one of the few Youtubers who is courteous, yet cool in a sense. I respect you for that.

  • Thank you SO much for uploading this!

  • This is the best piano piece I have ever heard in my life.

  • @NgMoo You really think so? Thanks so much!

  • this is my all time favourite of yours! it really demonstrates the intensity and power of the final battle. awesome job and keep up the great work! :D

  • @XMikuruAnimeX Really, it is? Awesome :D

I'll keep trying my best! ^_^

  • Nice work loved it! :D

  • @DjPandaTV Thanks so much! I'm always accepting requests for songsg to arrange, so feel free to stop by sometime and give me one =D

  • @Bespinben no problemo!

  • Thank you so much for posting this! I've been looking for this song for ages!

  • @Piplupluv2 My pleasure! Hope you got some friends who you could play this with (you have to have 2 people for this arrangement).

  • WOW, this has got to be your best work.

  • This is epic! Sadly, I will never have the skill to play either part.

  • @dolphindoodle I watched some of videos, so I think the the top piano part would be in your skill range. I think my heavy chord usage is just scaring you off :3

  • @Bespinben I suppose if I really spent time on it, maybe, but even then I wouldn't be able to do the faster parts (most notably those 32nd notes), especially because they're pretty big chords. My problem is that I have little to no sight-reading ability, so large chords usually make me cringe, 'cause I have to figure things out bit by bit and then memorize.

  • @dolphindoodle Those 32nd notes are actually just implied glissandi (aka slides), meaning I don't actually expect you to play those notes individually in time.

And same here, I couldn't sight-read for my life. I learn songs on the piano by memorizing a few measures at a time and then moving on to the next few.

  • @Bespinben I can't do those either, lol.

  • I always loved this song, and have been collecting remixes for a while. My request: could you do the credits song from PMD2? I think that would be great as a piano solo/duet. It summed up the game really well, and would be awesome as a remix.

  • @dregadude Sure thing! I had actually already had plans to arrange the PMD 2 Credits theme for a while now, so it's definitely at the top of my to-do list. I'm thinking of making it a piano duet, since there are so many parts in the song. Thanks for the request (and the sub too =D)!

  • Mmh, you think Tentacruel can do this?

  • @Hysogen Probably, but the point is that the sheet music is for a piano DUET, meaning two people on separate pianos side-to-side. But I understand your humor ;)

  • Oh my god... i love you. Subbed.

  • @thespleenenator As Homer Simpson would say, "WOOHOO!" =D Glad you like it! If you have any requests for me, please feel free to ask! I'm usually open to anything PMD or Pokémon in general.

  • @Bespinben I just have to ask, was this inspired by this

    watch?v=h1BytTMzadA&feature=related ?

  • @thespleenenator You're pretty sharp. This arrangement is probably better described as being "adapted from" than "inspired by" the aforementioned video. If you noticed, that arrangement doesn't exactly indicate what parts are supposed to be played which hands, so I adapted the mess of notes that was his arrangement into a clearer and more playable format as a two-pianos arrangement (and got rid of his unnecessary repeats and key changes that weren't in the original).

  • @Bespinben (cont.) You'll also notice the beginning to his arrangement completely strays from the orginal (and rather odd-sounding at that), so measures 1 through 23 of the arrangement here is all from Yours Truly.

  • There are several, but if you're willing to fork out 100 dollars, there is a program called "Sibelius First" (a downgraded version of Sibelius 7 [which costs 600 dollars]). The interface for the program is very intuitive, and the learning curve is very minimal, as compared to other programs like Finale, which seems designed for sound engineers rather than musicians. There are free programs out there (Musescore for instance), but they are very frustrating and restrictive. Again, go for Sibelius.

  • @Bespinben O_O ...any "conciderably cheeper" ones that you know about?

  • @GeekmasterPaul Well, 100 dollars is a whole lot cheaper than 600, but that's about as low as you can go for quality software. I did mention there was a FREE program out there called Musescore.

  • @Bespinben How good is that? (And did I mention that I LOVE this song?)

  • @GeekmasterPaul Beats me XD I've never used it.

I too, share your love for this song, else I wouldn't have arranged it ^_^

  • @Bespinben Oh. ok. Still this is an amazing piece. I can invision some piano player skillfully playing this at this speed.

What program do you use for this? I would like to write music on there.

  • @GeekmasterPaul Oh no no no no.... What you hear is just my program in which I write the sheet music playing back wrote I wrote. I didn't play this XD If I were to play this though, then YES, I would need a friend, as the arrangement is for TWO-PIANOS being played at once (the top 2 staves are the first piano and the bottom 2 the second piano).

  • This is... amazing. You have taken one of my absolute favorite pokemon songs and turned it into a piano masterpiece. Thank you for doing this.

  • @GeekmasterPaul Wow! Thanks so much! I'm glad you like it =)

If you have any PMD requests for me, I'm more than happy to arrange the song.

  • @Bespinben In that case... could you do my other PMD favorite: Battle against Rayquaza? (I know it's for other major legendaries, but Rayquaza is the most memorable.)

  • @GeekmasterPaul Definitely! I've actually been thinking of doing that song lately, so I'm more than happy to take the request. I'll have to listen to it a couple times though to see whether or not I'm going to do it as a piano solo or a duet, but my best guess is that it's going to be a duet.

I, too, like the PMD 1 version best, as it's the most memorable, and the remix of it in PMD 2 just isn't quite as good.

  • @Bespinben Yay. Now back to this masterpiece. I've seen people play very fast notes on a piano, but this leaves those pianists in the dust. Are you playing this (with a friend)?

  • 1 day? O.o

you're so must better at this than I am

    thanks :P

  • @BreinStijn Amount of time spent is meaningless; it all comes down to whether or not the product itself is good. That's why you and I are both equally good at what we do (you with the remixes and me with the transcriptions/arrangements). Either way, thank you!
