  • Saw him on this tour at Haymakers near Chicago, sat on the stage and shared my joint with Stevie right after he played this tune!!!! Ahh Rock and Roll forever!!!

  • saw Humble Pie with Steve Marrioit at the old Angora ballroom in Houston Tx back somtime early 80s..the loudest freekin show I ever heard..huge Marshall stacks in a warehouse!...awesome

  • Marge Raymond here. I was one of the background vocalists on this album, along with Cheryl Krebs, Sooty Jones. Im on the "go for the throat" album as well. Steve Marriot was one of kind and one of the best. RIP Steve.

  • I saw the same tour as well in Louisville, KY. We got front row with the "festival seating" ticketing they did back then. We went mainly to see Humble Pie and Mahogany Rush and weren't disappointed! It WAS a LOUD show!

  • I saw this Version of Humble Pie in 79 at the Capitol Center in Largo Md. With Angel,Mothers Finest and Mahogany Rush. I was Deaf for 3 days following!

  • @wtibbs21 - Dude! I saw the same tour in Rapid City SD. I remember Marriott singing at some point "We don't need Peter and his magic f'ing fingers!"...and like you, I was deaf for 3 days. Mahogany Rush was louder than hell!
