Getting to hear JB speak about such matters is priceless. It is also both acutely pleasurable and awfully sad. The latter because he is no longer with us, of course. Many thanks for posting this video.
The funny thing is that Jeff is one of my favorite singer's/musicians of all times, but I didn't care for some of the musicians that he adored. He was so much more gifted then them IMOPinion!
When I listen him for first time singing Hallelujah I was so impressed that I start singing again and I am so grateful to him for return me the feeling of music Now I have a great voice and I am going to go to the music school
this basically summarises why music NOW days is so god damn crap.. why cant people be more forthcoming with there true intentions and emotions, in general...
@jtincubus Oh, i know. I didn't mean that literally, as in there is one God from a specific denomination who took him. (I'm quite aware of Jeff's views in that area...well what he expressed to others about it, anyway.) It was more like a "he's so genuinely beautiful and talented that whatever is out there must recognize it" statement.
I guess I should have simply said that Jeff is otherworldly.
Now that he mentions the smiths imagine a band like: Johnny Marr on guitar, jeff buckley vocals and guitar... And a very minimal and airy rhythm section, one that is not famous for being tight.
he had so many great original and cover songs! he was one of the greatest and deepest musicians/people america has ever produced. its sad to me hes pretty much only known for hallelujah and last goodbye. i hope more people are graced with more of his music as the years go on. RIP jeff
I recommend you watch any interviews you can find of him on YouTube. He had such a smooth voice and the things he said always seemed so well-thought-out and intelligent.

Really got back into Sin-e. It reminds me of incense, beanbags and blue and green wallpaper. Yeh Jo Halka Halka Saroor blows me away
