Weissenborn Method for bassoon - Etude 15

i play bassoon as well, and this is one of my favorite pieces to play through when i don't feel like practicing music for my wind ensemble :P i wanted to say i thought you did pretty well! but being a bassoonist of course i am picky :) i thought that you could express yourself more! it also sounded like you were a little flat... but that could just be the fact that it was a recording! I would love to swap tips/info with you!

I did the whole Weißenborn book, but I can´t seem to remember this piece....

maybe I repressed it in favor of my favorite pieces in the book^^

..... Your air column needs a lot more DIAPHRAGM SUPPORT in order to achieve a bigger, fuller, warmer tone.

good ...look your breath .Tu dois faire attention au souffle, avoir une colonne d'air plus basse et libre et faire attention à ne pas crisper au niveau des épaules pour que ton son soit plus libre ...bon courrage.@ bientot on youtube

seach youtube for tewelltube and look for his study guide of this etude, it's hilarious, you'll love it. his name is terry ewell, he is a previous idrs president and professor of bassoon at towell university. cool dude.
