  • Well done! I'm not a fan of Technics, Lowrey, Yamaha, etc. but you sure did make this instrument sound great! You're one of the ones who have inspired me to learn this piece.

  • @dbschmidt1

Glad I could be of service!

  • is he playing in socks!?!?

  • @antoniusultimus

Yes, he is playing in socks. At the time he did not have organ shoes, though that has since been remedied.

  • i've been looking for this since time began. than you mikebau, from mikebau tunespotting.

even though you almost murder this in parts, i'm glad to have found it.

  • @pwiattitto

I'm glad you found this useful.

Yes, I do almost murder it in places. This is because you are listening to the second piece I have ever learned on the organ, and this is merely a record of where I was when I posted this. I am considering posting more, though of course I cannot guarantee lack of musically atrocious mistakes!

  • @ccoraxfan This is a pretty hard piece. You should be proud if its only your second piece on the organ.

  • EXCELLENT attempt!! keep up the good work and you will def get this off to a fine art!! doing far better than im doing!!!

  • Wow!!! Awesome man!!! Wow!!!

  • Thanks! But it's true that I have a long way to go yet to get this down without any messed-up notes. I also need to record this on my own organ, since it has a full compliment of pedals! (I actually run off the pedalboard in a couple places here, starting at about 2:09. Not enough notes on this organ!)

  • Dude, I used to be able to play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star (by Mozart) with one finger. Playing with two fingers confuses me!! Playing with both hands on more than one keyboard qualifies for musical genius in my book!! :D

  • congrats on a very difficult piece w litle practice. Flubbed notes can be fixed w more practice (i.e. money / pay for full time ministry). However, your Insight cannot be fixed--the legato notes and registrations seem to reveal shallow thinking ability, even tho limited equipment/$ here is fully capable of better registrations. Ur gifted w physical ability to do better, but r merely blocked by attitude, and un-authentic faith: u support Piracy despite 10 commandments. Shallow insight.

  • This is not to provoke "wars" by your negative comments which started it first on my Jig Fuga performance. It is merely to point out that you started a "war" by firstly Insulting ppl who are clearly superior to you. So it's only ur inflated Ego trying to pretend on my site that ur somehow a superior musician and composer (not even, see my Prelude in A etc.). Being inferior is OK--we're all inferior to others more Gifted than us. What is NOT OK is trying to erect "pretenses" to injure a peer.

  • «This is not to provoke "wars" by your negative comments...»

Ha ha, you said it better than I could have! Just turn it around...

  • Provb 21:28, James 3:6-9. "The false witness will perish, but he who listens will finally have his say." "The tongue is also a fire...a restless evil, full of deadly poison."...applies to you, by your own admission, fuckface. Peter swore justifiably cuz of sowers of discord like u, who are pro-abortion/piracy liars.

  • Okay, that's enough. You've been blocked.

  • Flubbed notes will be cured with practice, and so will things like lack of finesse in my performance. The registration though is hard to fix when you have an organ which is limited as this one is. I suggest you try playing an organ like this before you pass judgment on the organist. Also my thoughts on copyright law have naught to do with my performance. Good day!

  • interesting...good playing too

  • Very good performance. A*

Nice too see that it has not been hurried or molested in any way.

    John

  • Very good ^_^

  • Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

  • I have to admit I have served my curiosity with this video. It is lovely to see you play this piece of work! And to see a little bit of the man whom I engage into conversation with. (lol I feel like I'm spamming you, somehow.) But either way, wow.. I wish I could play an instrument like that. Do you have any personal favorites?

  • You're not spamming me, the other guy was doing that, and suffered the fate of spammers!

This is one of my favorites, another couple of my favorites I will post here eventually, if the good Lord should allow me the privilege! I like happy, melodic music, especially music from the baroque era (like this one) and late 19th century French organ music. My next piece to be posted will probably be one from that later period.

  • Well done!!

    Greetings from Holland

  • Thank you!

  • 'Nuff spam already! Sheesh...

  • oops, I see that I already requested you to play bluegrass with your buddies. Sorry, had a "senior moment".

  • Maybe you can play your fiddle and get your bluegrass buddies to play with you for a video recording.

  • If anyone is wondering what the difference between a fiddle and a violin, the violin has strings and the fiddle has "strangs".

  • Also could you post some of your playing your yankee pipe? It has been years since I seen you play it. But most of all I would like you to post some videos of you playing bluegrass.

Maybe you can get your bluegrass band agree to appear in a video with you.

  • Hey! you getting taller? Looks like you are growing up through your hair! :-)

I see you like playing without your shoes.

Can you record some of your "fiddle" playing? I would like hear some of your Bluegrass.

  • excellent! I love it. I've been waiting for this. excellent effort.
