  • My Border's Tally - nothing. His reactions are so slow. He will have to get to about a foot away from a rabbit before he will chase it but by then the rabbits gone. but border terriers are SO much fun to be with.

  • Great vid good to see mine loves to get rats and mice hes done quite a few love the breed.Chunk is 8 years old now and still full of life like a 1 year old.Was out in the alps on sunday he done 6365ft and still wanted to play great dogs

  • my male border is a right Psycho

  • i have one too. All mine's managed to catch is a Budgie so far. she likes to chase the pigeons away from our back garden too, lol.

  • hihihihihihihi to jest molly pamietam tego psa zajebisty był

  • Whoever is crying about the rabbit is a fucking pussy. Dont watch the video. This IS what they were bred to do. Deal with it. Your dinner was an animal at some point too. It's how the world works, whether you want to believe it or not.

  • Well they are bred to scare the rabbit (or actually foxes) out of the hole so you can shoot it.

I agree its not wors than many wild animals hunting, but this is not a wild animal hunting.

I have a border myself and use it for hunting above ground. I take great care in making sure the animals I kill dont suffer.

  • if there wasnt hunting then humans, faoxes, badgers, lions, tigers and millions of other animals would not be here today so i guess statying alive is selfish then?

  • nice rabbit!!!!!!! i have borders and mine are also used for hunting and for the people that think its sick read up on it-its wot theyre for we also use ours on rats we got a huge one the other day urz is a good dog it doesnt start to eat it like mine do and gym kid get over it theyre supposed to kill stuff and whats wrong with encoraging it

  • Well, your supposed to SHOOT the game after they scared it up from the hole. They were originally bred for foxhunts, to get the fox out of the lair.

I have one myself and use it for hunting, but I dont let it on the game until the game is dead (and its manly roe deer and bores so it cant kill them anyway)

  • for the guys who belive its a sick joke or wrong should do theyr homework on border terriers, this is what they are breed to do.

  • We got dogs here who hunt rats...pretty big rats too.You mentioned a muntjac in one of your other replies.Where do you live?

  • i got a little yorky he is 2.5 kg but he still kills thing could u use a yorky to hunt?

  • My dog managed to catch 2 birds. We dont go hunting with him, he just sneaks up on them in our back yard

  • yeh they're bred to hunt !

  • @solmoman my border mix catches flies

  • Tally so far : 1 fox, 22 rabbits,2 squirrels, 1 muntjac (attempted)

  • muntjak with a terrier? hmm they are small but bloody fast even some lurchers( albeit shit ones) have trouble with muntjak... are you saying the terrier flushed it to a gun or bigger dog?

  • Nice.. I got a border to but He dont hunts rabbits, Only foxes
