Well that is not completely true. Although Luxembourg doesn't have its own air force, there is a treaty between Belgium and Luxembourg that allows the belgian air force to cover Luxembourg.

Ich wohne abwechslend in Belgien und Luxemburg. Französisch bleibt für viele Luxemburger eine lebenslange Herausfordering. Es ist unerhört, dass beispielsweise die Gemeindenwebseiten nur auf französisch verfügbar sind. Natürlich gibt es frankophone und deutschsprachige Luxemburger (wegen der Einwanderung). Allerdings spielt französisch als Kontaktsprache zwischen Luxemburgern keine große Rolle.

Ich weiss nicht genau, was du damit meinst. Ich beherrsche Deutsch eher als Französisch, aber als Luxemburger spreche ich natürlich Luxemburgisch und fühle mich auch so. Meiner Meinung nach ist es sehr wichtig, die Sprache zu können, wenn man sich als Luxemburger bezeichnet (obwohl heutztage das Papier mehr wert ist). Ich hoffe, ich konnte dir in irgendeiner Weise weiterhelfen.
