It is a bullshit game that is totally unrealistic. If you want to have lots of fun, in a realisticish fashion, Lockon is great, DCS A-10C is good, Flight Simulator X is great with some add-ons that you can get.

@MFSPilot I think LockOn requires an addon to work on Windows Vista/7 computers. The IL2 series is great to. And those run on all computers Im pretty sure.

@122simran Lock On PLAYS great, you can blow shit up in FSX (VRS F/A-18D-E SuperBug), and DCS is good if you can play it, and have the skill to. It only needs one plane for how much realism and content is in it.

@RENJ55 They shoot simulated( ie imaginary) robots at each other, and the onboard computers calculate wether or not they hit. watch the movie red flag( it's on youtube somewhere,) and you'll see what i mean =)

The F/A-18C with the "red star" is an aggressor aircraft from the VFA-204 River Rattlers. They train with other pilots to refresh them before deployment. They are based out of NASJRB New Orleans. I know because I live on base.

Man does this bring back some memories. I was stationed at NASWI for 11 years from 78-89 in various Prowler squadrons. Obviously long before the Growler came along. Almost makes me wish I was still there. In fact, the very first EA-6 squadron to transistion to the Growler was VAQ-132, which was my very first command in '78. I am guessing these Growlers are still fully aerobatic. The pods on the wing tips are probably the receiver sensors and antennas and transmitters underneath? Just a guess...
