i love crazy cavan. i love southern rock i love hillbilly and rockabilly too but ... when i see a segregation flag, i think of the families that suffered the lost of a membre who got hang beaten tortured burned or buried alive for being black

Lads, to be fair, they are English Teddyboys and Rockers and Rockabillys, not southern american redneck racist thugs. I'm in the scene now, in America, and actively touring with My band thru Europe and the US, and I'm proud to count many African americans as fans and friends. I know some who wear the rebel flag with a chuckle and enjoy the irony! I've sung with Big Jay McNeely and backed up Ruth Brown (r.i.p.), and they were OK with the flag, in this context.

That brings back some great memories. I first saw CAVAN at the BOAT club in NOTTM in 1971 and then this year at the WILDEST CATS. Fantastic band.
