Can you take the spark arrestor out of the exhaust? Is it held together by screws or rivits (silencer)?

hi just asking for a bit of advise? i have a 2006 rmz 450! it has a real problem starting cold and hot, some times when cold it will only start with the hot start :S after iv tryd the chock and it floods really easy? and if i turn the bike off wen its hot it wont start very well if i try to start it again? have you got any ideas why it would do this? thanks tom

Nice bike man I got the 250 08 .. love it . but dude dont ride it like that if you're taking it out for the FIRST time .. it gives you more power if U ride it gently and slowly for the first 2 hours :) . just pointing it out :D .. congrats on the bike :D
