This show feels like you were trying too hard. First episode so that's understandable. Videogames are cool nowadays so don't assume we're all 9 year old. Brian could relax a little bit... Animations could be shorter, less cheesy, and more game footage. The robot was painful to watch (not a bad idea but why a costume why not a cool short animation on a screen behind them something like that). Leo's segment is great but a bit long? As other commenter said, this 1st episode doesnt fit in TWiT.
Also, I agree that trollbot is not funny. There were a couple of jokes with potential, but most of it was offensive, and intended to be offensive "ironically", but it just came off as offensive/lame in general. I get the intent, and maybe it could have been done another way and came out great, but I definitely don't have any desire to see that "character" again.

Is Veronica Belmont still a paid employee of Sony PS3? Conflict of interest? She's already proven that she will not say anything bad about PS3 games. Couldn't Leo find a single co-host that isn't already a shill for a console manufacturer?
I guess we can wait and see if she actually gives a critical, honest review of any PS3-related hardware or software. It won't take long to find something PS3-related to rip.

What's up with Video Game shows and standing up while hosting. I love the live web interview. Live RL is good fun. Great job on the production side. I think you mixed in game footage well during the live interview. I hope you get a chance to capture real game play if you review games. Actually seeing you play part of games you find annoying or fun.

@earlysound LAN party would be something a long format show would lend it self to. I've seen LAN party broadcast and most of them suck. It's hard for the production side to put up what is interesting and relevant on the fly. I think a good LAN party is post produced or heavily scripted. It's not like a SF2 where everything is on on screen. I think the flow for a good "LAN Party" segment would be very much like the flow for Iron Chef. If that makes sense to you. 2 things though, the transitions are a little too long & the troll-bot. Even though the troll-bot is a funny concept it could be funny without trying so much.
TWIT feels like friends getting together to talk about tech. Mac Break Weekly feels like friends getting together to talk about all things Apple. All About Android feels like friends getting together to talk about Android. This Week in Google feels like friends getting together to talk about Google. That is the TWIT Network standard. Game On does NOT feels like friends getting together to talk about games. That is what this needs to be. Other wise, nice production values. Feels like G4TV.

The skits were unbearable, JRY was not funny and in poor taste (as usual), Leo's character got old quickly, and Veronica and Brian were over enthusiastic to the point where it's actually overwhelming. Moderating leaned against a counter and standing next to the screen your guest is on is so 90s. And get pop resistant mics for Baby Jesus' sake, the audio is horrible! Having already had a pilot show to test this stuff last year lets this first episode still look like a dress rehearsal. Veronica is neither funny not charming but rather awkward, the bluescreen intro is embarrassing (chick with an automatic, srly?), ect. pp.
@earlysound It's just my objective opinion, but I'm terribly excited for a great gaming show on TWiT! This 1.0 version however is just still in it's infancy and has issues. I simply set my expectations too high.
Nothing against you personally of course, Veronica. I'm sure once the show ran a few months the moderation will have smoothened out. And I'm just not a fan of violent women, it's as attractive as one chain smoking or spitting out a wad of Red Man, no offence. ;)
