The rocks on the photo are called "Portes" Gates. Located outside the port of Paros Island, they are visible and known to all mariners.
This song is about a ferry boat that hit one of these rocks in 2000. Fortunately it was near-shore, and local fishermen picked up a lot od people. The rest is a long story.
