Cleaning bumps when their red & swollen by washing head with safeguard antibacterial soap then applying tea tree oil has been working for me. Also cleaning with alcohol if area is dirty before applying second application.

But if its on the back of your head it will probably be different , they would probably just inject steroids right into the keloid or u could just buy some asprins and crush them up , add a few drops of water to it and apply it on the keloid and it should just basically melt off :)

i used accutane for awhile back in the day and it did the trick for me, however recently these little bumps are coming back. shave very lightly, only one stroke, keep the shaving cream in for about 5 minutes to soften things up, wash your face with Clean and Clear facewash after and then use a vitamin a retinol cream on your face, that might work.

My son hurt himself when he was younger. He rubbed his healed injury site daily with alcohol swabs because a long disfiguring keloid was forming at the site. Miraculoulsy the keloid formation started to diminish. It is almost impossible to see the keloid now! You would have to get very close to him and search for the area that the keloid was in. A study need to be done on the effects of rubbing alchol and the keloid. I has not worked on all keloid but it has worked.

Okay, I will have to write back. It is the alchol used by Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, ga. The alchol packages are about 2inch square in size. He would rub about 2-3 every day 2-3 times a day until it all most seem to have disappeared! I can barely see where the keloid was. The process took months though. He was faithful. I do not know what prompted him to use alchol swabs like that. May be he did not know of any other painless treatment... Oh Well, it worked!
