I did hear about the Dr. Who show when I was a kid. But I only saw a few episodes with the 7th Doctor because in germany the tv people thought it was a children show. And when the 9th came we only saw the season with him and a few of the episodes of the 10th on prime time. the rest of the season was shown late night when nobody was watching. so we never saw how 10th ended and the new seasons are not on tv anymore. :-(
