This is the only good tune on the new album. It's a shame that they had to break up. The original Guns N Roses could have been huge (and they already are huge) but they stayed together, wow. In the coming years maybe money will reunite them.

Axl's voice don't seem so bad on his new CD. It seems he has out grown his old songs but it is still nice to hear them once in a while. I love November Rain.

Just listened to this through headphones. Brilliantly produced. Lovely subtle elements that you wouldn't normally hear straight up but they add immensely to the song. Great stuff, Axl!

I think Slash did real good with Velvet Revolver. The thing is, like the guy that replied to me said. They have different styles. I don't think I've heard much solo Buckethead. But I know that Slash, Izzy, Duff, and Axle make a better mix than what we have here. Where Buckethead MAY do better solo, Slash helps complete what used to be one of the greatest 80's bands.

Seriously, Slash is NOTHING without GNR. You probably havent heard ANY of Buckethead's solo material. In the time that slash has been in (not created) 6 albums, Buckethead has been in over 70 albums, 26 of them being solo albums. Face it, Slash is nothing, he's very over rated.

The point I'm trying to get across is that Slash and Buckethead began in 1987 and 1988, and in that time Slash has only done good things with GNR, and after GNR he wasn't as famous without Axl and Izzy. Since 88, Buckethead has been playing guitar and since 92, he has been a very successful solo artist.
I meant that he is horribly overrated. Both of them are. And "fame" has nothing to do with talent, at all. Personally, I don't even list him in the top twenty. Jeff Loomis, Marty Friedman, Jason Becker, Joe Satriani, Yngwie Malmsteen, Greg Howe, Steve Vai, Eric Johnson, Chris Broderick, Paul Gilbert, David Gilmore, and probably many more completely blow him away.

I think Slash did real good with Velvet Revolver. The thing is, like the guy that replied to me said. They have different styles. I don't think I've heard much solo Buckethead. But I know that Slash, Izzy, Duff, and Axle make a better mix than what we have here. Where Buckethead MAY do better solo, Slash helps complete what used to be one of the greatest 80's bands.

lol @ anyone who thinks Slash is more talented than Buckethead. Seriously Bucket had everything going against him. He's obviously brain damaged you can tell from the way he talks, he's obviously got stage fright, but still manages to release 50+ solo albums and tour on a regular basis while upholding a decent sized fanbase.

Buckethead is WAY more talented than Slash, more talented than most of guitarists.
But 1 thing, he has not released 50+ solo albums. Only 26 I think.
But he has appeared on about 70 :D

Seriously, Slash is NOTHING without GNR. You probably havent heard ANY of Buckethead's solo material. In the time that slash has been in (not created) 6 albums, Buckethead has been in over 70 albums, 26 of them being solo albums. Face it, Slash is nothing, he's very over rated.

So is Buckethead. The number of albums someone has released is inconclusive to the mediocrity of the material.
Mediocrity is something Slash and Buckethead both have in spades.

Did I read that correctly? Did you say Buckethead is nothing with out GNR? He wouldn't be AS famous, but still would be very famous. Most people know him for his solo material. The point I'm trying to get across is that Slash and Buckethead began in 1987 and 1988, and in that time Slash has only done good things with GNR, and after GNR he wasn't as famous without Axl and Izzy. Since 88, Buckethead has been playing guitar and since 92, he has been a very successful solo artist.

I meant that he is horribly overrated. Both of them are. And "fame" has nothing to do with talent, at all. Personally, I don't even list him in the top twenty. Jeff Loomis, Marty Friedman, Jason Becker, Joe Satriani, Yngwie Malmsteen, Greg Howe, Steve Vai, Eric Johnson, Chris Broderick, Paul Gilbert, David Gilmore, and probably many more completely blow him away.

Kirk Hammet has written nothing I would consider substantial, or above the "subpar" level. I don't mind Metallica, but all the good shit was Mustaine playing.
