Btw, did you use iMovie for the editing? I don't have a MAC so I'm using the Flip Software. For what it is, it's not too bad. I just wish they'd had a few more features like text editing (the font & color).

yup, I used iMovie. It's works very well with the Flip HD, as it doesn't require any transcoding. I've since sold my Flip as my iPhone 3Gs shoots pretty good video (not HD though).

The Flip has a little USB arm that swings out and plugs right into your computer's USB port. It charges the internal battery.

save your money and just buy an iphone 3gs,

almost better video quality and its the worlds fastest and most powerful smartphone ever, it has double the ram from previous models and it only costs 200 bucks,

and it even records in 30 fps and has a mini video editor right on the phone and you don't even have to plug it into the computer to upload it,

you can upload straight from the phone.

sry i ramble a lot but yeah, just buy it.

The 3GS is very nice, and if I didn't already have an iPhone 3G, I'd get one. Unfortunately, it would cost me $500 to upgrade to the new iPhone, which isn't worth it for me. Plus, an iPhone that's filled with music and other content won't have much room to record video. The flip has 60 minutes of recording time, and records in 720p HD widescreen.

each minute only takes up 25 mb and it too uses 720p recording, i think apple has found a way to utilize all 3 megapixels for recording so the video quality looks amazing, and the picture quality has auto macro and a tap to focus and an auto focus feature, its pretty amazing for a phone.

As long as you select the HD size when exporting from iMovie, it should automatically show up as HD on YouTube. It can take a few hours before it's available, in my experience.

Yep, it's simple :)

Select the clip you want to adjust, bring up the Inspector (press the 'I' key), then use the speed adjustment slider.
