So if I am interupting this right...it feels to me like this piece is attempting to communicate the psyche of the man. Being that, his ideal woman is only in his head because his ideal woman is like his cat...Playful, wild, yet controlable..

the part with the human incarnation of the cat attacking the bird is the reality shot, where he realizes that his cat will never be that woman nor will any woman ever be his cat...or is it all literal and he is a Zoophile *shrugs*
