You can adjust the volume sensitivity - so it will only respond to a voice if it is close enough.

I think it's quite an inventive idea and certainly could be fun amongst friends for a few minutes to joke about with which, honestly, that's what these apps are for.

I just think the advert could have been better, but really the base idea is very fun.

@malefactor1000 if ir had a cam it means that the cam should be centered and you should then hold the ipad like 300 cm from your face to have it fully in the frame so it wont bee fun while you see the face of the user... so even if it had a cam, i would not be used for this...

Same way the make console games before the console is released, dev kits! My mate showed me a photo of the Wii dev 4ish months before the console was released, looked like a plain black pc with the Wii cables.
