Abortion is an issue only because our society has abandoned Gods Word. God would rather nip this problem in the bud before any abortion could take place. Deuteronomy 22:13-21 says if a man marries a girl and finds her not to be a virgin, then she is to be stoned to death. Notice the girl is to be killed without a concern of whether she might be pregnant. God doesnt want that selfish man stuck raising a baby which wasnt his! The bible god's answer is to kill both the girl and the baby
@Ashitanoyuki Thinking is what got us here in the first place people thinking in terms of math and sci and tech. Is what made TV, Cars, computers, oh yea the internet. Critical thinking makes a people prosperous. So what's so bad about thinking and what does that make me suffer?
Well, when i say thinking, i was referring to attachment. I totally agree with you that our brain has great powers in term of creating things. What I really meant to say was those meaningless thinking that lead people to frustration and fear and worry. I wasn't being precise of what i meant.

Well said. As atheists, we do have more freedom to find our own meaning in life. Life is full of so many amazing things and if people don't appreciate the life they have, they will be wasting time and not really living life to the fullest.
you can sit around with your "morals" selfishly denying other people pleasure to seek some biblical "reward" in the most self-centered manner possible. or you can go mad fer it and get mashed like prison potatoes.
either way: it wont matter in 120 years when your doing little except feeding worms. in that sense you and i are gonna live forever. but not in a ill b walking on clouds of heaven sense. heaven sounds like a good LSD trip. it probably is actually (bible = acid trip?).

This I think is the problem, including religious dogma. We have two groups, one wanting a Christian globe, another an Islamic globe, and they will stop at nothing to achieve that.
With such terroristic motivation, the 'knowledge' they will live after death only further encourages martyrdom. That scares me.
