  • patches work they make it easier. allen carr started smoking again later after writing his book. here is no super way of smoking it is hard no matter what. but if you really want it and try it untill you find your way to deal with the nicotine moster. you will be succesfull in the end. don`t bhe mad at yourself if you don`t succeed at ones. just try it again later when you feel you wanna try again.

  • nicotine patches only make ur mind that u dont want cig but somehow u get nicotine so it better to quit cold turkey make urself strong

  • For those if you claiming nicotine patches "don't work" because nicotine is a drug habit...........Duh!!atheist patches work by gradually reducing the amount if nicotine you use. Tapering like this increases your chances of quitting by minimizing withdrawal and allowing you to focus on the physical part of your addiction I.e the famous "hand to mouth" habit. I've tried quitting 6 times cold turkey b4 using the patch. Since using the patch it took 1 time and that was it.

  • read alan carr's easy way to quit smoking. Nicotine patches don't work because nicotine addiciton is a drug addiction. Now your experience will differ from mine as I only smoked a pack a day for 3 years. But I'm at 7 days cold turkey and very little cravings.

He hasn't posted a video for a couple of years so did he go back to smoking?

  • I've been given some of the 21mg's. I've tried gum before, really strong gum, but it's terrible on it's own I find. It just makes me feel sick and want to smoke. The patches, since it's a constant dose, are working MUCH better.

I'm still smoking, it's getting way easier to go for hours and not even think about it. It says they last 24h. Feeling the urge, I stuck another on this morning 12h into the other.

    Double patches at 21mg.

It's actually giving me a headache and my ears are ringing.

  • They should make marijuana patches

  • Nicotine patches are great. Stick one over each eye and you can’t find your cigarettes

  • @keeratism ha ha ha :D

  • But it's better than the urge to smoke. I can't STAND the fact I ended up on them.

Getting over the morning urge for them is proving tricky. That's the reason I'm still buying them. But using the gum with the patch first thing in the morning may be the way to fix that.

  • @keeratism lol that was funny

  • It doesn't matter how you ingest the nicotine, if you take it then you are still an addict. Patches simply don't work. You wouldn't use cocaine to treat cocaine addiction. That's right, you smoke because your an addict. Your destined to failure.

  • thnx for the video i will go tomorrrow at cvs and get a nea start

  • how are you doing now? i quit smoking about 35 days ago. I was using generic CVS brand patches which were about 12$ cheaper per pack than the Nicoderm. It was definitely worth it, as they ran out of step2 of the cheap kind and i was forced to get the expensive nicoderms, but the nicoderms gave me bad red spots on my skin compared to CVS.

anyway i recommend to use some kind of patch to anyone. it makes it much easier for me. and a couple red spots is worth it.

  • I stayed on step 3 which is the 7mg for about 3-4 days and had to bumb it back up to the 14mg patches. I think living with other smokers is what holds me back from finishing this off, but I am not sure, I am not blaming anyone, just got to trust God and keep going!

  • good job man i cant afford them soo my step 1 is 14 - then 7mg lol

i have high blood pressure anyway so this i gonna have to work

    2 weeks of 14's than finish w/ 7's

    i hav no choice

  • @ktoddweaver Cutting down only makes the nicotine more precious because your basically torturing yourself with withdrawal for long periods and the cigarette provides a greater illusion of pleasure when it relieves what it created. Your never going to quit with patches. It basically sells you an extremely difficult way to quit.

  • @mtb2004uk did you quit using Easyway? lol

  • I stayed on step 3 which is the 7mg for about 3-4 days and had to bumb it back up to the 14mg patches. I think living with other smokers is what holds me back from finishing this off, but I am not sure.
