Anyone thinking SLC is hard, or ghetto, or the gangs are ruthless, really need to get out more. Boys in my city put it down, there's literally shootings every single day. Come down 2 the hood @ 3AM you will see hookers, crackheads, shot out street lights, and groups of men with bullet proof vests and tec-9s in plain site.

Salt lake city has one of the lowest unemployment rates, poverty rates, and murder rates in the nation. There was 3 murders in SLC in '09.
Here in Charlotte NC (far a ghetto city BTW) We had 5 murders in a 48 hour period after New Years '09. we average almost 100 murders a year, our murder rate is 9 times higher than yours. You also have a very large, significant gay and lesbian community.
SLC is not hard.
Every city in the top 10 most dangerous, there murder rate is 40-80 times more than SLC.
