  • 3 DAYS TO GO

The IAM films have been played almost 8000 times. At this moment with only 3 days to go, we have 45 backers and $4400. We still need $5600 by 6:30am Sunday morning Hawaii time to reach our goal of $10,000. I thank those who contributed to help us try and save Molokai.

Now would be the time to ask friends and family to pledge if they aloha Molokai. If you are sitting on the sidelines thinking about letting someone else contribute - that someone else is YOU. Mahalo for your support

  • Kanoho Helm and the Anahaki Box Band played tonight in beautiful downtown Kaunakakai. We had $1356 in contributions, giving us $4016 at the moment. There are only 7 days to go and we still need $6000 to reach our goal of $10,000. We need an avalanche of pledges this week. Plus there are still some great $1000, $5000 and $10,000 rewards out there waiting to be given away! We are working hard to save Molokai and need your help to make more films. Now is the time to pledge on Kickstarter. Mahalo.

If 1000 of you out there who have enjoyed this film could donate $10 each we can reach $10,000 and help save Molokai from permanent changes. Mahalo.

  • Hits the pu'uwai so hard, how can not support our Moloka'i 'ohana on this. Make i known as far and wide as can. The Kahea and the mantra Moloka'i style: "Don't change Molokai, let Molokai change you." This goes for ALL Hawai'i Nei!! 'Eo!

  • Thank you for standing on our Mother Earth and in particular the beautiful island of Molokai and speaking this truth.

I completely agree with this viewpoint.... not only is the idea of erecting wind turbines on Molokai to power Oahu damaging to Molokai.. but it does not make sense!

It is time to be self sufficient.....Oahu has the capability of producing power itself.....

Thank you for this video.... I will share.....my prayers are with you also ..holding the vision of Molokai as now

  • I ALOHA MOLOKAI! IF THEY REALLY NEED ENERGY MAKE ROOM FOR ONE WINDMILL AT YOUR HOME! LET ME KNOW HOW THAT WORKS OUT. THATS WHAT THEY LIKE US DO, AND ITS NOT EVEN FOR US. NO CAN. I ALOHA MOLOKAI! MOLOKAI WILL FEED THE HAWAIIAN ISLANDS AFTER THEY HAVE NO LAND LEFT TO SELL.

  • I agree with this video 1000% BIG WIND PROJECTS on Molokai is not the answer to the energy problem. I also disagree the solar panels are the answer to the energy problem on Oahu. BUT the is a NEW Wind system coming soon that will be able to generate more then enough power on the location sites without using more land area. Big Wind farms are old technology! In a few years Medium wind turbines will change the industry and the energy future.

  • AWESOME!!! KEEP MOLOKA'I MOLOKA'I!!! GOOD JOB U'I & KANOHO AND ALL WHO HAS MADE THIS POSSIBLE ;)

THATS RIGHT, DONT CHANGE MOLOKA'I LET MOLOKA'I CHANGE YOU!!

  • Aloha,

I agree 100%. Big Wind is not the answer. Wind farms are a 1970 technology. They now have smaller more efficient turbines that can fit on each individual building, that also can be retro fitted into new construction projects. Every building and home can power themselves, No need encroach on precious land to power another Island. Come on Gov., just google it, got plenty alternatives out there.
