  • very good job!! it looks like the models were really on the table.. amzing

  • it slipped around 7 seconds for like a frame

  • Bullshit. Where's the Push Forward track for Trackmania? Why the fuck did Youboob recommend this to me?

  • @Capt777harris Maybe because I live in the same town as the world champion in that game ^^

  • Very impressive work!

  • not that i am the best at modeling animating etc but the shadows are kind of screwed up closer to the end

  • @Grant5321

They are closer to reality at the end because the lamp has four lights. You are probably comparing it with sun light like most people.

  • Funny!!

Just some questions: the dancing hominids were 3D models animated by using PFTrack mocap on dancer's one camera footage? And those shadows were made in the same program too?

Thanks a lot, and please answer me!

  • @ormaisazio

The dancing characters are bipeds and the program used is 3D Studio Max

  • @Paskatomten Ok, fine, thanks!!

  • where did you get the people dancing on the table from its so so awsum please tell me or how you did it briefly

  • @williamssally

I used 3D Studio Max and downloaded dance animations mocaps.,

  • the tracked camera motion has a few jerks in it. im having the same problem. its a nightmare.

  • i have the car as a model

  • @Tripoluca

I downloaded it from the web. Don't have it anymore.

  • LOL those dancing 3dsmax Bipeds!

  • LMAO funny stuff man gud job (Y)

  • cool animation, man.

  • @theC4K3is4lie

    Thanks

  • not hard at all. you just need to know what your doing on the program. its the 4 dots you have that is everything basically.

  • please tell me how you did it

  • There is tutorials here on youtube if you search for PFTrack and tutorial.

  • is the a string pupit?

  • how did you do that? send me a message

  • great vid! Ive been having trouble with mini dv footage with boujou and syntheyes, ive done about 10 tutorials and am now trying PFTrack - my point is that I get a fair amount of slipping! My question for you is do you use a HD camera? I am wondering if that makes the difference.

  • haha no I used my sister normal camera with record function. Thats why the image is so crap and not because of youtube.

If you watch my video you get a slip at the end. The characters and the car slides alittle bit when I get close to the table and starts moving down.

  • Hmm... ok thanks. I have done some great tracks that work perfectly within the tracking program, (the box or human model sticks) but when I bring it into 3DS the thing goes nuts on me. I match frame rates and all but it just doesn't seem to work very well. Some moments do some don't. PS im using a panasonic DVX 100a which is a 3CCD camera with a nice lens... Back to the drawing board I guess. Oh one more thing, did you use 3DS?

  • Well first I recorded the movie. Then imported it into PFTrack. Did the tracking and got myself some good points on the table. Then I exported the 3Ds Max script and imported it in 3Ds Max. Then I just added a plane on the table with matt material (invisible) and put the bipeds on the plane and gave them mocaps dances. Added some light and thats it.

  • oops ok my bad. i only paid attention to the second half didn't notice that the first half was that way

  • nice, but why not only one of your lights that cast shadows, i think should look more natural that way. But good job, btw im thinking of trying PFTrack myself. how long did it take to track this clip?

  • nice man!, pftrack is better boujou?

  • Thanks!

Have not tried boujou yet but from comments around the net PFTrack is the program used by most artists and companies making CG effects for movies and stuff. Don't know if its true but the program itself is very easy to use for beginners even if it still offers a great deal of options for more advanced stuff.

I followed the tutorial here on youtube and this is the result.

  • Did you hand animate the bipeds?

  • No I downloaded the animations.

  • great work!! will be getting stuck into PFTrack myself looks like it's a great app.

  • Very well done there.

  • Thank you :)

  • hahaha nice
