  • how did the typhoon intake work out? are you happy with it? I heard the quallity inst the best....

  • @whitroc01 you get what you pay for, so there is some material to clean up on the inside, and some basic port work to do.

but I made 321rwhp and 328trq with it....... so it can make very good power

  • you need a bigger massair i had the same probam i had a 75 mm throttle body and needed a 80mm massair

  • I had the same reaction when I fixed mines up. lol! Come to find out is was 180 out, restabbed it and it just woke up. Strange u said that it was rich because mines(sn95) was lean but fortunately I never ran into idle surge.Only time it surges is from a cold dead start for about 1min and the T4MO is very picky compared to your A9L. Watched your vids b4 and after u bumped the timing, dramatic improvement. Makes me wanna hurry and finish my notching for PTV clearance cuz i have a TFS2 as well.

  • Car sounds nice as hell reminds me of my 91 hatch. Miss that car owell building my new one check my video out of my pristine condition 89 original owner picked up for $2500 now I'm building her as we speak : ) come on spring time

  • Sounds good!! I currently have the stage 1 cam myself.

  • @lxman1 thanks, check out my other videos. there much better then this one.

  • A true car guy. Smiles everytime he rev's his own engine :)

  • @nsinhold hahaha, what can I say. I'm in love!

  • @Xarmy187 Good to hear. Im building a 306 H/C/I for my GT as we speak.

  • @nsinhold Awesome! check out my other videos, and if you need any help or advice, feel free to ask :)

  • i thanx for the quick reply ill keep watching ur videos.keep in touch.let me know if u decide to sell them.thanx dave

  • good evening from maine i wrote o u before about my 93 347 with the msd stuff.i just watched this video i notice on the wall behind ur car u have a set of stock h pipes u interested on selling them im will ing to pay shipping, i kneed a set.i have state inspections i can't altered my exhaust it won't pass the smog test. if u liked to send me ur email address ill give u my phone number we can talk about our cars idea's thanx dave

  • @davecrx2000 I was planning on keeping them as long as i need to pass emissions tests. coming across stock mid pipes are hard these days as im sure you know.

so ill keep mine for now, sell them some day when the car is a little more serious.

  • dude you gotta get some longtubes...you will love it

  • @707notchback yea, the car needs them. Right now rebuilding the motor, trying to decide If I want to build a 347 or not....

    check out my other videos!

  • there was other things that where changed new tb,maf, fuel injectors, but im pretty sure its leak also because i alredy rest the tps to .90 -.95 and timing is good i even bougth a custome tune chip and i really havent checked for a leak do you know any test i could do to it.

  • @Elkarateka3 yea, get a spray bottle, try to keep the car running, and spray the water around the gaskets. if the water gets sucked in, it will bog the motor down. the water will not hurt anything, just try not to pay the distributor or injector plugs.

  • @Elkarateka3 i don't know about water never tried, always used starter fluid to listen for the surging. Just go over all the vacuum lines i've had 2 foxs now and had to fix vacuum lines on both. Usually it is the pcv valve hose that connects underneath the upper intake manifold where u would have to take it off to get to it.

  • yo good videos every informative i just changed out my manifold a couple more bolts on. but it surges when it ideals. wish i had more money to get to do a top end change if you have any tips to get my pony running it will be greatly appreciated keep up the good work.

  • @Elkarateka3 if all you changed was the manifold, then I bet its a vacuum leak.

  • how was the car running before you advanced the cam?

  • @Bledsaw89 I didn't advance the cam. The distributor was a tooth off, so I could not get the car started.

    look at my new videos.

  • stock short block?

  • yes, 100% stock bottom end.

  • So what kinda cam/head setup did you go with. sounds like an e with some 1 chambers, afr 185's and is that an edelbrock performer?

  • typhoon intake, trick flow twisted wedge heads, trick flow stage 2 cam. the exhaust is a mac cat back, bbk off road H pipe, and bbk shorty headers

  • tried to show this video to dad, He seemed interested at first but when i asked him if he wanted to see the video he didnt really want to see it, I think its just cause he didnt want to get up lol

  • lol, oh well.

Havn't talked to them in like a month. Kinda fucked up he doesn't care what im doing.

  • lol @ the shit eating grin on your face after u rev it. hahaha.

  • yep u need a tune now

  • meh, im going to do a "base idle reset" procedure, get the right fuel pressure, and find the right timing. That will probably be it.

This motor I hope to be swapping out for a 408w in about two years

  • Its great to finally hear it run again man! Can't wait to see it at the track finally to see what you run now. Remember, patience is the key even if the bitch shocks the shit out of you lol.

  • haha for sure man!!

thanks for all your help and motivational words!

  • hell yes it's a beast congrats

  • Congrats Man.

Can't wait for a test drive video!

  • thanks.

I need to install the gauges and re-install the center console, then I will take it for a spin. Hopefully next week?

  • Now u just need to take that sucker out for a spin XD
