  • I dig this idea, but I'm wondering about weight limitations? Have you tested it in any way? I'm 6'4" with Norweigan blood in me, so I'm what the French call, "Friggin huge," and I don't want to kill myself getting in this bad boy.

  • @Shiftyeyedog

I was 175 lbs at one time (I'm what the French would call, "small"), and I've been using the same hammock for 4 or 5 years now. My wife and I have put our weight together on one of these hammocks without any breaking, so it should hold 300 lbs or so.

If you're worried about it breaking, I would substitute quick links in place of the aluminum biners, use climbing rope for the cord, and double and triple reinforce the webbing. And don't set it up over a cliff your first time out.

  • where does the webbing come in at

  • @snowlover45

The webbing comes in during part 3. I don't use that method anymore, though. Look through my videos for "Hammock Straps 3.0," for the method I currently use ( watch?v=84LDnrbXxFQ ). Of course, by next year I'll probably have moved onto something else. It's worth noting however, that I'm still using this original hammock after 3 and a half years.

  • Great music! Can't find it out here though... :(

    Always enjoy your videos Paco!

  • @Spikestrip55

Keep up the compliments, and I may just make another video!

As for the music, it comes from the album, "Hush," which is a collaboration between Bobby McFerrin and Yo-Yo Ma. You can find it on Amazon (I just looked). I think the entire album is brilliant.

  • Thankyou I will try these techniques very well demonstrated.

    All the best
