I remember from my earliest memories growing up with Blinky. I have 3 child a ren now and every birthday we put his special song on. God Bless you Blinky and please never forget how much we loved you, oh and don't play in the street!

Oh, Blinky! I grew up in Englewood and next to our house we had a very large garden with rows and rows of corn. I remember one day when I was very little, there was a knock on our door, mom answered it, and it was an old man asking us if he could have some of our corn stocks to use as a fall/halloween decoration. My mom said he could have as many as he wanted and when he left, mom told me, "Honey, do you know who that was? It was Blinky The Clown!" And I was star-struck! Ah, memories!
Some body once told me that Blinky was mean, but after seeing this video I dont believe it. He seems so kind and funny, I wish I could meet him. Thanks for this video Dave!
Great that you had a chance to talk to Blinky! I lived 4 blocks away from Blinky for 28 years in Englewood, and I got to know him through broadcast clubs. As you found out, he's a friendly guy, and loves to talk to people.

It's Blinky's Fun Club. lol when i was 4 or 5 like 15 or 16 years ago I got to be on his show. I went there for a feild trip with my day care and ended up on the actual show and not just in the audience. I got to sit on his lap and sing the Good Morning song. When i was that little i thought he was the creepiest guy, but now i look back and i think it was funny. I still have the episode i was on VHS. lol
