Agreed. This appears to be a "key race" for a Inferiour horse coming off of a long. I'd be suprised to see him in the money his next two - three times out. Though the turn and strech moves do indicate talent, but just not in this case.
This is the kind of analysis that pours "dumb money" on a horse with virtually no interest in winning. True, it was a bad ride, and the horse did lug in late. But what's to say lone speed types can't open up a seven length advantage as they swing for home...and even with the venerable Chop Chop riding, we still might be 10 lengths back. That is suicide in a one-turn race on the inner. He could save ground all he wants and still lose. A definite play against on Wednesday....
