  • GOD BLESS RONALD REAGAN,GOD BLESS AMERICA,GOD BLESS CAPITALISM,GOD BLESS JERRY FALWELL,GOD BLESS ANITA BRYANT,AND GOD BLESS MICHAEL SAVAGE!

  • at least it was just a mis-spelling.it is still the truth, not liberal lies.today someone tells the truth and the liberal lamestream media tells all kinds of lies.example-HERMAN CAIN.Herman Cain tells the truth, just like Ronald Reagan.and btw, there was no iran contra thing.it was a lie invented by the liberal media.nothing came out of it.Reagan remained President so that proved that it was a lie.sorry liberals, you lose again.GOD BLESS RONALD REGAN,GOD BLESS AMERICA, AND GOD BLESS CAPITALISM!

  • one post i mis-spelled ordinary.

  • the liberal media tries to bring down Reagan's legacy because Hitler is the liberal's hero.Today Reagan is the most well known person of the greatest generation who served in WW2 and if you can tear down the NUMBER ONE AMERICAN HERO RONALD REAGAN then it's easy to tear down the rest of America.liberals hate America.their heroes are Hitler,Stalin,Lenin,Marx,Polpot,Mussolini, and Satan.

  • Reagan won the cold war! He got rid of many nuclear weapons.the soviet union had us out-numbered 6 to 1 in nuclear weapons before Reagan was president.Reagan cut taxes across the board.don't believe any of the liberal lies.read a book.the best book about Reagan is ''how an ordiny man became an extraordinary leader'' by dineshe disouza. a true book, not commie-nazi liberal lies.

  • They don't make em like the Gipper anymore. You'll note no teleprompter, unlike the current President.

  • we all make mistakes. remember we are not perfect. only god is perfect.

  • Under Obama, we are a government that has a nation. To Obama, the federal government created the states. Obama is a typical socialist communist!

God Bless You, Ronald Reagan! You helped the American people to believe in "We The People" again! Will the next Ronald Reagan please step forward & lead America back to prominence again? Our future depends on it!

VOTE CONSERVATIVE IN 2012 - VOTE NEWT GINGRICH!!!

  • @ChihuahuaboyDH First, socialist and communist are as dirreerent as capitalist and fascist.

Second, the federal govenment was created by 13 states. The other 37 where property owned (obtained thru war/purchase) by the federal government. So, yes most of the states were created by the federal govenmet, congress to be exact. (Read US Constitution Article 4 Section 3)

  • @ChihuahuaboyDH Third, I do not believe Regan understood "by the people" as I do. He said government was the prpblem. If government is by the people, how can the people turn around and blam the government? We all need to be reponsible for our choices, we are our government! Read up on our history and your reprsentatives. Vote wisely, IT MATTERS!!

  • @bakerjr12 I'm sure Reagan appreciates the difference between "by the people" in theory, and government in practice. After all, Reagan was elected by the people, so apparently the people agree with him.

  • @JohnJ2427 well a majority of the people that voted agreed with him in principle. That doesn't mean everyone agrees with everything he does. Realize that only 20-30% of Americans even vote and it takes only 51% of them to vote for one candidate for them to win. That means that less than 15% of Americans elected him... or any president for that matter.

  • @ChihuahuaboyDH

Did you seriously just compare Gingrich to Reagan!?

  • Ladies and Gents, please do not loose focus of what this fine president said. What made this country great was a small government that created an evironment that fostered groth and rewarded those individuals that were willing to excell. It was not big government, socialism, spending like there is no tomorrow, etc. I hope one day we will have another president with these same values.

  • Caseyforever, You Are An Idiot! You have no idea what you are talking about! Ronald Reagan was a man of principle, morally upright and a great leader!

  • reagan was a good personality but not a good president and by decree of his own actions... not a good man.

  • We are a nation that has a government, that's why I'm firing the air traffic controllers.

  • Almost Forgot but biggie.

The Reagan Administration was involved with Barry Seale and then Arkansas Gov Bill Clinton smuggling Cocaine thru the Mena the airport in Mena Arkansas.

  • Ronald Reagan wouldn't have gotten to where he is,if it hadn't been for the Chicago Mafia.

That's right! With help from the Chicago Mafia and one of Ronnie's closet friends

Sidney"The Fixer"Korshak Representative of the Chicago Mafia in LA.

    In Return

Old Ronnie did favours for the Mafia all his Political Life

  • Reagan sold weapons to Iran and used the money to finance an illegal war in Nicaragua. Selling weapons to the enemy is treason. That's what Benedict Arnold did. There's your conservative hero. A traitor.

  • Reagan sold weapons to Iran and used the money to finance an illegal war in Nicuragua. Selling weapons to the enemy is treason. That's what Benedict Arnold did. There's your conservative hero. A traitor.

  • I like most human beings but President Reagan sold weapons to Iran and used the money to finance an illegal war in Nicuragua. Selling weapons to the enemy is treason. That's what most presidents do

  • Reagan sold weapons to Iran and used the money to finance an illegal war in Nicuragua. Selling weapons to the enemy is treason. That's what Benedict Arnold did. There's your conservative hero. A traitor.

  • Old ass puppet shoulda got shot

  • i like the guy, HOWEVER, his administration sold weapons to Iran and used the money to finance an illegal war in Nicuragua. Would that not be considered treason? (and yes, 99.9perecent of presidents have done that, and yes Im also referring it to them too!).

  • @Vash1286 No, it's not treason. Investigations concluded that "arms sales were at most a failed and perhaps mistaken policy. There was no cover-up involving the president." People who call it treason are like those who call Obama a traitor for passing legislation they don't like. You can disagree with someone's policies without calling them unAmerican.

  • @JohnJ2427 I didn't say he was unAmerican...he defines America with his humble beginnings and rise to Power. A great leader (regardless of whether people like him or not). I just don't like the people he was surrounded with, such as Jerry Falwell, Cheney, etc...

  • @JohnJ2427 Changing the wording from treason to a "failed and mistaken policy" doesn't change the nature of the crime. It only allows cowardly prosecuters an excuse not to prosecute powerful people. A recent example is Nancy Pelosi cowardly taking impeachment off the table. That doesn't mean Bush and his fellows aren't guilty of war crimes. It just means Pelosi was to cowardly to prosecute. A few courageous people still use the correct terminology. Treason and war crimes.

  • @JohnJ2427 Oh and one more thing. Your comparison to Obama passing legislation that people don't like is flawed. Reagan didn't get congressional permission. In fact he had to disobey congress in order to make the arms sale to Iran. That's why it was illegal. Financing the Contra rebels was also forbidden by congress. That's why it was illegal. Obama passing legislation is not Illegal. See the difference.

  • @insightnew My comparison was not flawed. Reagan did nothing illegal. I suggest you research the issue since it is so important to you. Also, many people believe that ObamaCare is unconstitutional, and hence illegal. But that does not make Obama a traitor for signing it. I suggest you try to be a little more open-minded to other points of views. Learning a little more will also help you to be less arrogant.

  • @insightnew

What about Obama bombing Libya without the consent of the Congress? That is most definitely illegal - Republicans may choose not to oppose the bombing. But it is, nonetheless, illegal.

Strange actions for a guy (Obama) who has won the Nobel peace prize and called Iraq a "stupid war."

  • @bumpy783 it's funny you should mention that. I was thinking of doing a vid on that. That is a NATO action. We have a Treaty with NATO. When they go to war we go to war. No approval needed. It's in the Treaty. Treaties are powerful documents. In this case it's Obama's legal cover. I'm not happy with it and I won't be a votin fer that guy again but his ass is covered.

  • @insightnew Just so that others are not misled by your ignorance, I want to point out that Treaties are not Constitutional amendments. Because the Constitution specifically allocates the power to declare war to congress, the authority to force America to go to war cannot be delegated to a foreign country. Quite frankly, anyone who thinks it could be shouldn't vote.

  • @JohnJ2427 Just so others are not misled by your ignorance the constitution states that treaties become the law of the land. If we sign a treaty and it is ratified by congress then we must abide by it. If we promise in that treaty to fight along side of member nations then that is what we must do. Treaties are more dangerous documents than you realize.

  • @insightnew You cannot change the Constitution by signing a Treaty. The Constitution supersedes. A Treaty is "the law of the land" the way a federal law is. You can't pass a federal law that violates the Constitution either.

  • You might want to Google "The Iran–Contra affair" and learn about how President Reagan and other senior U.S. officials secretly facilitated the sale of arms to Iran, when Iran was the subject of an arms embargo.

  • @zarkoff45 I fully encourage people to research how Presidents have engaged in covert operations in support of their foreign policies. Too many people don't understand the nature of government and they want to give government unlimited power when "our side" is in charge. But we should be cautious about giving government so much power, because it won't always be "our side" in charge of it. Only an active citizenry can restrain the government. Don't be a sheeple.

  • Ronald Reagan released thousands of insane people into society when he closed several state hospitals. Now those people are into their second generation breeding.

  • God Bless Reagan!

  • Reagan is one of the best presidents. Greatest peace time economic boast. And created 19 million jobs. What has any liberal/democrat do that except JFK? NO! Great man and a Great American. He was what America needed. Now we need another one.

  • 230 "people" who dislike this video need to be deported to Cuba!

  • @JEREMY99218 230 people were smart enough to figure out what you haven't quite figured out yet.

  • Reagan was an actor. He said whatever they told him to say. I guess in that respect he was similar to g.w bush because he is more of just a frontman and puppet then actualy being personally involved in policy although I guess most modern presidents are like that

  • @6enlighten9 I think he was a great man

  • @SlamageEntertainment Actually what i think of Ronnie?

*Ronnie cared about Ronnie even above country.

  • @6enlighten9 You could say that but mean while the Obama administration is bringing back Policies that Reagen had made/written

  • If you get the chance...you might actually want to go read the Wikipedia page on Reaganomics. They've plenty of references for you and it might be a good place to start your research.

  • Comment removed

  • @MsKagome19 did you get that from the Omen? lol it doesn't say that in the bible. It says he's allowed rule over the earth. And that those that don't allow him to put his mark on them aren't allowed to do commerce, buy food, or have jobs.

  • The greatest american president, how I wish to have him back at the top seat of our country.

  • I'm sorry! I don't want to shatter anyone's respect for the guy, but to ignore his part in the economy and to deny his part in giving weapons and training to "freedom fighters" is simply lying to oneself.

I don't lie to myself. I'd much rather see politics for what they are than continuously hurt myself and others by idolizing mediocrity.

Sorry if that pisses people off, but that's not my problem.

  • @GrowTheTruth Of all the things to criticize Reagan for, his economic policy was right on. He couldn't force the legislature to give him what he wanted, but he was on the right side.

  • @JohnJ2427 I'm afraid that the Reaganomics policy was FAR from right on.

I'm sorry, but I don't quite know how to reason with you. You don't seem to understand very much about Reagan's role in the economy. Right now, all you seem to be doing is trying to idolize the man and are refusing to listen to those who are telling you that he is not entirely deserving of your respect.

Now, by doing so, are you trying to convince me? Or are you trying to convince yourself?

  • @GrowTheTruth You keep saying that America's economic problems started with Reagan, and then you contradict yourself and say they started earlier. You really should make up your mind. I have yet to hear any evidence that Reagan advocated raising taxes. If you want to move this away from politicians and just discuss policy, that's fine. I don't care who enacts good policies as long as they get enacted.

  • @JohnJ2427 I think you don't quite understand what stagnation is.

Of course America has had bad economic times before, however the CURRENT economic state America is in and the problems it faces, when traced back, can be pin-pointed to Reagan's administration.

  • @GrowTheTruth It's not just that you're wrong, it's that you do things like refer to your opinion as "historical facts". That's just silly. No wonder you think you're smarter than everyone else. After all, your opinion is historical fact! Other people's facts don't count. That's very self-reinforcing. It must really hurt to have your opinion challenged by actual facts.

  • @JohnJ2427 I've given you historical facts, sweetie!

Unemployment went up to 10.8% after Reagan took over. THAT is a fact! Now, unless you don't understand the difference between historical fact and opinion?

  • @GrowTheTruth What did Reagan do that caused the unemployment rate to go up in 1982, and then go back down? I know! He cut taxes and regulation! Win for Reagan!

  • @JohnJ2427 *sigh*

Wow...alright. You're just...just so blatantly ignorant. It hurts just to watch you. =_=

You need to do a bit more research. This is just a waste of time.

  • @GrowTheTruth Yes, I agree. You're way too ignorant. Please read a book or something.

  • @JohnJ2427 I'm sorry, but if you can not comprehend the difference between a statistic (fact) and an opinion, then you might just need to go read a book yourself.

Personally, I have a library in my bedroom, so I'm sure I've a lot of books under my belt.

A fact is a piece of statistic that has been researched and documented and can be looked up by anyone from the general public at any time.

An opinion is a statement made that construes a personal feeling towards a subject.

  • @JohnJ2427 For example:

Jane: "I think Reagan wasn't a good President because national debt more than tripled from 900 billion dollars to 2.8 trillion dollars during Reagan's tenure."

James: "I think Reagan was a good President because he believed in tax cuts."

Jane's statement shows a fact! Jame's statement shows an opinion.

  • @GrowTheTruth Actually, your examples are false. They are both opinions about what makes a good President. In fact, the claim that the national debt tripled is false because it does not account for inflation. You're comparing 900 billion 1980 dollars to 2.8 trillion 1998 dollars. The fact that you are this stupid and/or dishonest makes me feel better about insulting and mocking you.

  • @JohnJ2427 Actually, associates of the Laffer curve have accredited the excess debt to government spending.

  • @GrowTheTruth OMG You ARE crazy. I thought you were just stupid. I was proving that your statistics were false. You latch onto invalid statistics to validate your twisted and bizarre worldview. If you'd like, I can help you find a decent therapist who will help you find a way to deal with reality. I genuinely mean this. You need serious help, and I'd like to do what I can.

  • @JohnJ2427 All of my statistics are valid and verified, sweetie. I'm sorry you can't handle the truth. Have a good night arguing with everyone, though! I'm off to have some dinner with a friend. :)

  • @GrowTheTruth Except, of course, for the deliberately dishonest ones. I hope you find some solace with your friend, and please remember that if you hear voices telling you to hurt yourself or anyone else, don't listen to them, and find someone you can trust and tell them.

  • @JohnJ2427 Keep telling yourself that everyone is crazy but you, sweetie. That really helps your problem.

  • @GrowTheTruth: The highest unemployment statistic I found was from Media Matters, a Soros funded organization with no love for Reagan or his policies. Their finding was that Unemployment went up to 9.7% under Reagan, not the 10.8% you stated. What is your source?

Other than Roosevelt, no president has won re-election when unemployment was about 8.5%. This indicates that, though unemployment rose initially under Reagan, it also dropped rapidly. How about "credit where credit is due?"

  • @DanEcho67 She's clearly not interested in facts. I've already tried dealing with her on that basis.

  • @DanEcho67 Unemployment topped out at 10.8 percent in December '82 during Reagan's presidency after his tax cuts in August of 1981. It took about 4 years to drop that rate.

  • @GrowTheTruth: This is not the case according to the "credible" source that I cited. I would like for you to cite your source, please.

  • @DanEcho67 How about Wikipedia, which accredits its source to Steven F. Hayward's report on Reagan (p. 185)?

  • @DanEcho67 By the way, in case your wondering Steven F. Hayward is a American author, political commentator, and policy scholar.

  • @GrowTheTruth: I know who he is. His primary works are about environmentalism, but he often chimes in on how evil conservatives are. Rather than a politically motivated... let's face it, "hack", how about these statistics from the Research and Analysis Unit, Indiana Dept. of Workforce Development ?

    1980 7.10%

    1981 7.60%

    1982 9.70%

    1983 9.60%

    1984 7.50%

I'm sure you'd rather stick with Wikipedia and political pundits, but I prefer to get my information from researchers without agendas.

  • @JohnJ2427 I'm sorry that you feel the need to delete people's comments. I'm sorry you can't handle that there are a lot of people who justifiably do not like Reagan. I'm sorry you don't understand Reagan's actual role in America's economy and I'm sorry that it upsets you that someone you consider a "hero" isn't viewed in quite the same light by many others.

However, all of those are things that you are going to have to deal with on your own.

  • @GrowTheTruth I'm sorry you feel the need to troll the internet looking to spread hatred towards people you don't like. That's your problem.

  • @JohnJ2427 I'm not trolling at all. Perhaps you don't understand what "trolling" is.

I'm here having a debate. I've offered you statistics and historical facts to back up my opinion on why Reagan was not an American hero. You've offered me none of that.

I have no hatred towards Reagan. He was a man. He made terrible mistakes, but he was still a man. I just disagree with him being revered as an American hero is all.

  • @GrowTheTruth Excuse me? Aren't I the one who brought up the fact that the AMT was created in 1969? Is that not a historical fact? Oh, I see. By "historical facts", you mean your opinion. Historical facts I bring up don't count.

Are you this obtuse and arrogant in person? No wonder you stay on the internet. You must be a very lonely person.

  • @JohnJ2427 Yes, you did. I also mentioned to you that Reagan had signed the Tax Reform Act in 1986 (17 years later by the way), which made the adjustments to the AMT.

The original AMT in 1969 was different than what the Tax Reform Act of 1986 turned it into.

  • @JohnJ2427 You're obviously very touchy about this topic. If debating this greatly upsets you, then I'd be happy to end our discussion right now.

  • @GrowTheTruth Maybe a little less opinion and a little more actual historical facts. I think that'd make a difference.

I'll start: historical fact - Reagan fought to cut taxes. Low taxes help economic growth. Win for Reagan.

Historical fact - Reagan fought to curb spending. The legislature overrode him, but he was on the right side. Win for Reagan.

Historical fact - Reagan fought against burdensome regulation. Stupid regulations are bad for the economy. Win for Reagan!

  • @JohnJ2427 "Reagan fought to cut taxes. Low taxes help economic growth." Opinion. Where are your facts to prove that he accomplished this?

"Reagan fought to curb spending. The legislature overrode him, but he was on the right side." Opinion. Where are your facts to prove that he curbed spending?

"Reagan fought against burdensome regulation. Stupid regulations are bad for the economy." Again, opinion.

You don't know the difference between opinion and fact, do you?

  • @GrowTheTruth Are you retarded?

  • @GrowTheTruth That was unfair of me. I just have to learn your language. By "fact", you mean your opinion, and by "opinion", you mean my facts. I understand now.

  • @JohnJ2427 Alright. You obviously don't know the first thing about debating.

Rule #1: Back up your debate with GENUINE facts that can be researched and confirmed by your opponent.

If you can't do that, then why bother debating?

  • @GrowTheTruth I need to see citations for all of your assertions, and please state exactly what Reagan did to impact unemployment, since that's such a big issue for you.I'm sure you must have the relevant details at hand.

  • @GrowTheTruth Sorry, I got confused! Your opinion are automatically facts and don't have to be substantiated. I forgot! Won't happen again!

  • @ReallyBadService Yo must be mentally retarded!

  • @kaptinkill2382 You mad? Yeah, you mad.

I have to laugh when bumpkins have nothing more intelligent to say to me. Have a good day, sweetie. :)

  • @kaptinkill2382 you don't even know who I was replying to you fucktard. Piss off douche!

  • @kaptinkill2382 And you're the traditional racist. Your ignorance amazes us all.

  • I think this man ruined america.

  • @gabrielgabriel2000 You think you think, but what does it matter when you need lobotomy?!

  • @Shahrex yes is a very great response to my comment thank you.

  • Why thank you for stating that John.

  • @Dude1337jeeb As opposed to who.... Hitler?

  • Beyond his grave, he still makes me cringe with anger.

  • he should have stuck to acting in Hollywood.

  • @MsKagome19 so... Christ himself was the anti-christ then?

  • @edensdarkpoet no because every one denied him until much later. They beat him and hung him on a cross. The government wasn't to pleased with his stiring up trouble.

  • i like ronald reagan. i don't like politics. I'm not republican, nor democrat.

  • @iseesquares Re war on drugs: Agreed. Reagan wasn't perfect. Given his experience in Hollywood he likely had first hand knowledge of the damages that drugs , including alcohol can do. He probably allowed his emotion to cloud his judgment on that issue. Reagan understood that a person who wishes to be cared for by a government is a subject. A person who wants the government to leave one to fend for one's self is a citizen. Reagan refused to mollycoddle, home and abroad. For that he was reviled.

  • compare this to today... God help us

  • @Dude1337jeeb yes, a devout Christian who quoted The Bible during some of his speeches was the anti-christ.

  • @iseesquares Re war on drugs: Agreed. Reagan wasn't perfect. Given his experience in hollywood he likely had first hand knowledge of the damages that drugs , including alcohol can do allowed his emotion to cloud his judgment on that issue. What Reagan did understand was that a person who wishes to be cared for by a government is a subject. A person who wants the government to leave one to fend for one's self is a citizen.

  • WWRD...What would Reagan do?

  • by the people are u kidding me lol we have spoke we want weed legal yet the government does nothing

  • I was a 20 yo college student then, living hand to mouth. 15 dollars a month for my closet and food stamps to eat on. Reagan used the power of government to end college students even being considered needy. But I thank him, cause I picked fruit and vegetables to live and met all those Central American refugees fleeing the US gov intimidation and murder. I held a person, a human being, whose mother was killed because she started a co-op in El Salvador. I learned alot, picking fruit in Oregon.

  • @scottnsanfran So many Americans don't understand the pain Reagan caused. Maybe it was because they never felt this pain themselves and don't think that it affects them.

However, those are the people I pity, because they're the people who won't understand the pain of others. They're the people who want to see the best in Reagan, even when the man harmed millions to impress a few.

  • @GrowTheTruth could you provide a few facts instead of just saying he did something like this? If you can't prove it then remove it.

  • @furiesego Those are all facts, honey.

  • @GrowTheTruth I felt the pain of Ronald Reagan.

I was in High School 16 and older, and wasn't able to get a job.

It wasn't until 1st Bush i got my 1st job.

    Then

In the mid-90's when Clinton was prez there were soo many jobs that wendy's and Mc-a-dees raised their their start pay per hour because there was soo many jobs.

If Reagan was such great prez, why was the economy soo bad that some couldn't find work.

  • @businessfreedom I agree.

  • @businessfreedom as much as I dislike Reagan, you're not an economist, and you clearly don't understand the way economy's work. By that same logic you would hold Obama responsible for the current economic downturn. Which is foolish.

  • @businessfreedom I think you have just misundersood the whole thing, this is not about Carter, the Farmer who ruined USA, and let it get humilated all iver the world, if USA still is a superpower, it is thanks to Reagan, not Carter, or Clinton or Obama!

  • @Shahrex Superpower,So the US Military can go over to Afghanistan and open fire on unarmed INNOCENT women and children which is Murdering and Butchering!!!

Sure it's because of Reagan we're a superpower,so superpower can be 1# Drug Kingpin in the World.

    Well?

Don't you know under Reagan,Crack-Cocaine was invented.

    And

The CIA was big part behind it!!!

  • @scottnsanfran and your point is? You had to work to get by and nobody was subsidizing your future? What a novel Idea working for a living. And you are saying that because the woman started a co-op in El Salvador that that the US killed her for it? I am not following you, you learned alot, what did you learn? That it is important to learn to fend for yourself and serve others? Or that it sucks that you had to?

  • Is Ronald Regan really 100 yrs old, or is he dead? Serious question.

  • Reagan...The cock who's crow made the sun rise.

  • @NoFearOfGod Just lol.

  • Reagan...Administration with the most felony convictions at 52.

  • Reagan does not deserve to be celebrated in any way.

  • @loboisfuzzy Thank you

  • Reagen...The biggest union buster in American history. I'm glad he is long gone.

  • Reagan is responsible for this great depression that's upon us,he sold us out to the best bidder,he will be remembered as one of the greatest crooks this country had!

  • @sarsanch13 You sound like the typical left wing loon that has no life. What great depression that is upon us? And how could you blame this on a man who is no longer with us (may he rest in peace).. America is stronger than ever and our best days are ahead. It's Obama and the Democrat party who are TRYING to bring us into a great depression with their health care overhaul, massive spending, regulations, tax hikes, and military defunding.

  • RIP Reagan

  • Debt and factory remnants... good job??

  • This guy started the downfall of our country

  • @donaldwertman The downfall of this country started when people decided the government could run their lives better than they could themselves. Here was a man who tried to get us away from such backwards, regressive thinking.

  • @MsKagome19 We seem to think along the same lines at least when it comes to this so please also know that he bankrupted Social security by taking 350 billion in his first term and 400 billion in his second term. Until then Social Security was fine.

  • @MsKagome19 Name one president that didn't.

  • This guy doesn't understand liberty!

war on drugs is an epic failure

  • Reagan's policies make my life significantly more difficult. I don't think he was a good President, no matter how well he read those speeches.

  • @MsKagome19 I was a kid back then, and I remember him very well. Like I said, he was not perfect, but I think he did a great job. Was a hell of a lot better than Carter.

  • Reagan's big downfall was being sucked into preserving an empire; whilst under the impression he was restoring the republic.

  • Why 204 dislikes???

  • What a tragic fate for the republic - Reagan's words, which should be mid stream, are viewed as "far right"

So consumed with "democracy" and "tolerance" we have lost all understanding of Liberty.

  • IF YOU DONT LIKE THIS VIDEO, WHY WACH IT ?

  • Gorbachev Lives

  • You shouldn't remove all comments you don't want to hear. If you post the video, please let people decide and verbalize how they feel about it.

  • @Freesilver92 That's kind of a joke because if republicans liked honesty they would not be republican anymore!

  • @Freesilver92 I only remove the ones that are utterly insane.

  • rip reagan

  • @Rick132500 rot in hell

  • We need him today.

  • @ Ronald Reagon. You are a Wise man!

  • Reagan > Obama

  • @saidox Well you communist, what do you think he did so wrong?

  • All of these Reagan videos have so many hate comments.

  • @mmawilldesha I'm removing the worst of them.

  • @mmawilldesha Yeah. It's too bad. The worse thing with this country is all the blind hate that comes from partisan voters. Reagan was not perfect, but he was a damned good president. Too bad hate keeps so many from seeing that.

  • @edvhou812 Best comment I've seen on these videos.

  • @VelaToNorma7 La-Li-Lu-Le-Lo? What are you talking about?

  • “Welfare recipients are a faceless mass waiting for a handout.”–1966

  • @Eddyking5 Unfortunately, honey, people can no longer maintain that mentality. About 50.1 million Americans are on welfare at the moment and it isn't because they're simply waiting for a handout. It's because the new average time to find a job has increased to over 35 weeks (assuming they can actually get one and aren't on some form of disability).

  • @GrowTheTruth I truely hate Reagan you know? He was a tyrant, a butcher and mouthpiece for the wealthy, the lucky, the elite and the power-hungry.

  • @Eddyking5 I don't like Reagan either, to be honest. He started the "War on Drugs", which has become the most costly war in history and has lead to America holding 25% of the world's prisoners. He also gave tax breaks to the rich but over-taxed the middle class, which increased the gap in the social classes. He also helped fund and train Bin Laden and the freedom fighters.

He certainly wasn't the worst president, but nearly every problem facing America now can be linked back to his Presidency.

  • @GrowTheTruth

I presume you are fairly new to this world, stating that all of our p[roblems can be traced back to Reagan. He was far from perfect, as are we all. He was exactly the leader we needed at the time. the Carter economy had devastated the US. The Carter diplomacy made us so weak that a third world dictator held US cititzens hostage for almost two years. The theocratic despots in Iran released our people the day after Reagan was inaugurated.

  • @PRM2643 I'm sorry, but that's a fact.

Even the New York Times stated that the current economic crisis can be traced back to Reagan's administration.

You might want to look into it, hon.

  • @GrowTheTruth "Even the New York Times"? Well, National Review blames all our problems on Obama. Surely you're not that simplistic.

  • @JohnJ2427 Surely not. But that isn't the only source that blames Reagan. Just go Google "reagan economic disaster" and you'll see page after page of what I'm talking about.

  • @GrowTheTruth Google "obama economic disaster". That's 989,000 hits vs your 237,000. I win!

  • @JohnJ2427 Reagan increased the national debt from 33% of the GDP in 1980 to 52% in 1988.

I dislike Obama also. I think he's a very slick salesman but just as much a liar as any.

  • @GrowTheTruth And the Soviet Union tried to match the US spending... and went bankrupt and no longer exists. Reagan ended the cold war and kept it cold at the same time.

  • @JohnJ2427 Unemployment grew under Ronald Reagan from 7.6% in 1981 to 10.8% in 1982.

I mean, I won't lie. George Bush Jr blew up the economy bad and Obama is trying to use pathetic band-aid solutions to fix it (even though unemployment is at 10.1% this year).

When you start to really look at the numbers, though, not many presidents were all that impressive.
