The Shelby Chargers are in my mind some of the best sleeper cars of all time. This just takes it to a level I've never seen before. I can only imagine how hard that car is to handle being FWD though.
Good luck. He's back in Canada, not in Houston anymore. Anyway, this is a T-3 2.2 DOHC block with a modified T-3 Lotus designed head. He runs a distributer, not the standard DIS and last time I worked on the car(2 years ago) it had 2 injectors per cylinder. He was talking about 4. This car is NOT on nitrous even though the rest of his class is. He went 3 years on a stock Chrysler block before a failure. The turbo is insane and the intercooler is a one-off unit that he made and continues to mod.
It also had several innovative trans mods. He was running the SDS system and did have four injectors per cyl. He was not runing a distributor when our shop was sponsoring his NHRA run.
Interesting. I never thought of attaching a stainless steel toilet seat to my dash and putting my gauges on it.
