  • Waddya mean? Racers tend to look after their skis far better than other skiers. Ski maintenance can easily be the difference between being first - or an also-ran.

  • Don't think so. There are about 100 artificial plastic slopes in the UK and parts of Europe, and a probably around 20 artificial indoor snowslopes around the world.

    But none of either anywhere in the USA.
