  • Like a fish out of water.

  • Chuck Norris would be proud of you

  • AWESOME!!! As long as people are drawn to this fancy crap I don't need to worry about good techniques becoming too common.

  • Still not like me ....

  • STEVE TEREDA! <3

  • Dear Universe, all real Martial Art(s) is about Defense, always..........and that involves "life", always, so..it is not something to take lightly, nor to make a "show" of, because "life" is at stake. It is a very serious subject, always. Can we afford to make light of "life"? Can we afford to risk "life" with ineffective/harmful technique(s) that can actually harm those using it/them or others? Can we afford to do such thing(s) for money or fame? No. We cannot afford to. Love always, RMC, GOD

  • I am training in xma and traditional. It is fun. I am no way nearly as good as any of those guys!

  • XMA is more like an acrobatic dances than a martial arts

    but it's still cool

  • this is not martial arts, this is pure acobatics, just a show...none of this jumps ands kicks have any practical use in a combat, is clear enough

  • cool

  • Jack Sparrow plays XMA??

  • awesome stuff but there is no way captain jack sparrow could do any of this stuff

  • My respects to all this practitioners !!!

  • I want to see some of these guys actually fighting. if they had the power to back this up it could be a very good fight to watch

  • xtreme martial arts it is a gym of Sant Boi, Viladecans(Barcelona)

  • Extreme Masturbational Arts...haha..XD

  • very impressive tricks!!!

  • It's cool to watch, but it's not even close to being a martial art. It's basically acrobatics with the occasional prop. To be honest calling this a martial art is an insult to any legitimate martial art, period.

  • @sbowesuk i agree. i got my head bitten off a few weeks ago for saying a similar thing on another XMA clip, but the thing is its true this is not what martial arts is all about! not trying to say these people arent skilled as the blatently are, but just because they do a few weak punches inbetween flips and twists doesnt make it a martial art. a breakdancer/gymnast could add a few punches but that doesnt make him/her a fighter!

  • @sammiedodgers *Aaam om nom nom nom* (I'm bit your head)

  • woooooow awesome circus XD

  • these guys would get their asses kicked in a real fight!

  • Cool gymnastics, bro.

But where are the martial arts?

  • @Raelthorne Wow what an ignorant person. The whole point of xma and the way it is designed isn't to be effective for combat. It's to put on a show, if you don't realise that then you are the single dumbest mother fucker I've ever had the displeasure of discovering.

  • @Raelthorne

Las artes marciales estan en todas partes, lo dificil es alcanzar un nivel de practica en el que veas las acrobacias con fines practicos para el combate. gracias

  • @Raelthorne there is no martial arts in xma its like a class that you go to to do well in form competitions and demos

  • @Raelthorne Fight one of them and you'll know :P

  • @Raelthorne Every punch. Every kick. Every stance. Every pose. Every technique. Every move. Every Kia. Every single heart out there.

That's where lies the martial arts. It's all there as blatant as can be. See the video again, maybe you'll get the gist that martial arts has gymnastics mixed in with it.

    Thanks for reading, bro.

  • there are no martial arts for " not fighting " they are called war arts ... daamm!

  • the point is that war arts are without flash ... this is only flash ... i didnt see a single decent tehnique ... ive seen some good jumping i admit and great athletics but martial arts are much more than entertaining twirling

  • whats the point??

  • Martial arts = martial from the god Mars = god of war ... war arts .... that is for war ?

  • @TheSamaell

    yup.

  • with jeans :O

  • almost same with tricking....but this's absolutely different...

  • And for those who are to stupid to understand the sense of XMA..

This martial art is not for fighting its just for the show!!!

  • THIS ist absolutely AMAZING!!! INSANITY!!!

  • JUMP STILE IS BULLSHIT VS XMA ;D

  • "And...yes, it's a triple lutz!!!!"

  • hey bwconklin and thridhorde y dont u guys SHUT THE FK UP! XMA is for show and not for fighting u idiots

  • XMA looks indistinguishable from gymnastics to me. Looks cool but would get you murdered in an actual fight..

  • @bwconklin LOL! indistinguishable?? watch a vid of gymnastics and compare it. gymnastics is all about elegance etc. i agree XMA does not have much use in a fight but thats why its choreographed as its just for show. They should call it something else not extreme martial arts

  • i would like to see that in a real fight....

  • It's spidermans brothers!!!!!

  • i broke my leg training this TT^TT

  • epic

  • gymnast train harder than alot of athletes remember that thats alot of training

  • xma is like wushu and gymnast train harder than a lot of athletes just remember that

  • Xtreme Mastubational Arts

  • @0lIKOedIl0

Yes, they can kick pretty hard, like a soccer player can kick really hard, but if you spend your time focusing on something like performance, like most XMA performers do, you'll be like the soccer player, who can kick really hard, and have an amazing physical condition, yet still not know how to actually use it in a fight.

  • @TheMartialartsJedi

I've studied kung fu for a few years now, and even taught it for a year until I had to leave to college. Quite honestly, things in monkey fist, like in eagle claw, or praying mantis, are NOT meant for distraction. They are meant to get you physically fit. For instance, the forms in kung fu stress stances because of the leg work out, and so that you learn to use your hips for power. But in a real fight, going into a low stance would get your leg broken. XMA is the same.

  • Oh god i'am going there :).

  • great !

  • @TheMartialartsJedi

That is great, I respect all of those who would devote hours of their time to perfect something they have passion into. Being physically capable to do that is pretty awesome, and can be used for distractions like you said, which is something you can learn to do on your own because thats your interpretation of your own way of combat. But as you know, all life is the strive for balance... balance the two, and your set ;D

  • @TheMartialartsJedi

That is true, it can be to a degree, if as a martial artist that individual wants to focus his or herself in that way of combat... however, there is a point when it becomes excessive and the focus needs to divert back to form, striking, foot work movement (which is KEY in close combat) and not all of this.... if it was done just for the hell of it okay... but doing this takes LOADS of practice... in that case time should be better spent.

  • The music makes this video TERRIBLE.

  • thiese people would kick ass im an xma champion we wouldnt nessesaryly flip in to battle we would actually kick ass we flip @ the last minute

  • Comment removed

  • @0lIKOedIl0

    i bet they would miss

  • paguei muito pau, que foda !! 1:44

  • Dont get me wrong I do respect the physical fitness these guys go through, if they can do this stuff it shows their level of physical prowess. However, whats more practical for the sole purpose of combat? Training in something like kali (ex. PTK) and even other practical martial arts, or training for hours and how to jump and fly around? Which doesn't help in a fight AT ALL. If its gonna be called MARTIAL ARTS, it should be martial. Not "extreme" gymnastics.

  • Pretty moves but not practical whatsoever. Less training on flips and more on actual combat would be better.

  • @BushidoBudo9000

That's not exactly how martial arts work, though. For instance, in traditional kung fu, you hear a lot of comments such as, "it looks like you're dancing." But, when we fight, we don't move like we do in our forms. Forms are to develop, not only physical stamina, but flexibility, speed, and even a philosophical sense of beauty, by understanding what looks well and what doesn't. The same goes for XMA.

  • what song is that

  • good for flash and show, but when it comes to practical application, i have never met an XMA student who could best me in a sparring match.

  • Does anybody know the name of the guy at 1:52

  • @cramkcramk i think its steve terada but im not sure !

  • @cramkcramk i think its steve terada but im not sure !

  • @cramkcramk steve terada i think

  • i dont need to tell everybody this, its common sense, that real fights requires strategic planning.

    but its so COOOL!!!!

  • Круто!

  • first of all, a 540 kick or something like it would be extremely dangerous kick to catch, So I guess if used good it's possible to dominate your opponent with this style, secondly I believe they are also capable of normal fighting techniques so their fexibilty and stamina would make them excellent fighters.

  • Yeah... Although u know.. its not real fighting and its for show.. Im sure if you were a good enough martial artist and able to do this stuff u could tweak fights just to be more fun :P I always rekon they'd be good evasiveness moves.

  • i know someone whos scored points from cartwheeling into a jump kick. impressed the crowds around the fight :)

  • im sure it did. haha. Ya gotta admit, It'd be awesome fun. I'm a 1st dan in rhee taekwondo myself, and I rekon it'd be mad fun toying with your opponents like this =P

  • @bensta690 you can kick alot of as doing that kicks trust me ive done it. iwth like 5 guys

  • lol yeah that's why i want to do it, i've been doing isshinryu karate for 6 years and it would be cool to learn something a little more showy like this, just for fun.

  • Who says its for fighting?

its all about show in martial arts tricks or xma.

you wanna impress the audience nothing else!

but i wouldn't say that its impossible to kick someone in a real fight with a jump kick.

  • The moves are cool but in a real fight u can apply those moves.XMA is very cool but is for show only.

  • sick

  • doeos not won fights ok

  • its like a windmale with feets

  • xma shit (mma best iron)

  • 0:40 Street fighter xD

  • Es impresionante

  • The song please ! ...

  • pirates of the carabean

  • GrAcias Men,,

  • wow ;O

  • people who call this shit are idiots.

if u can't do these tricks then admit that u can't.

maybe they don't fight as good as you but its just sorta like entertainment.

if u can't brick breaks admit it.just because u can't doesn't mean its foolish its just testing one's strength.

do what u can do and leave other people alone, everybody has some good qualities and some not so good qualities.

  • MMA is effective on one guy but in street brawl nothing is greater than Krav Maga.XMA is just for show of, used mostly for crowd entertainment, so in my opinon it is not a real martial art, just sport or acrobatics.

  • i would shit my pants if a guy starts flipping while kicking at the same time towards me

  • 2:00, man best ive seen, pop 360, want one like that, high and flashy

  • respect them body controls gosch

  • i wouldnt call it martial arts

  • ahahaa jackass its called EXTREME MARTIAL ARTS

  • I doubt any of this is usefull in a real fight but it sure looks awesome!

  • XMA is awsome, but is just for show,if somehow you have to defend yourself, knowing some kickbox will be much more usefull, instead of XMA,i practised kickbox and shotokan karate and kickbox is much more useful to use in a real fight.

  • lol gay a** little freak at 1:37 threw 1:42

  • kurama 131 deberias ver como me mataron con almohada

  • Beautifull!

But in real combat those moves don´t "ome out"

    Personal experience :-)

  • Actually they do. These are just previews.

They perform many kicks and punches and

    some incredible combinations aswell.

As you can see, they're all very fast.

In real - this is going 2x fast.

And I think they're all pretty decent of reading

how the opponnent strikes, and they're quick.

  • well actualy there are alot of posers who belive they can fight like that but its like this if you cant spare aginst some one else doing that you cant fight some one for real but if you atualy love to learn to fight then its not wasted and you realy cacn fuk some on up badly

  • wow thanks for making a totally original comment that isnt on every xma vid

  • i'd eat a baby to be able to do that

  • less baby eating and more off your ass practice! now get to it!

  • yeah baby!!!! Go martial arts!!!!

I've been practising taekwondo and shaolin kung-fu for 3 years and I'm still doing them, But, honestly,

    I LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!

  • que groso el chico del minuto 1:25

    y todos los otros tambien

  • man get out of here xma haterz don't like it don't watch it

  • I agree, don`t like it don`t watch it.

  • They aren't hating, they are saving people from this modern facade. My opinion? if you weren't born into martial arts, don't bother training to become one because you will most likely lack the discipline to be a real one. XMA is a bigger disgrace to traditionalists that MMA is...

  • could not agree more XMA and MMA are a disgrace and what is more owrrying is that XMA teachers and students alike truly believe they are great, it makes me shiver with terror that people belive this stuff is usefull, the power rangers have a lot to answer for. Sadly to many kids get into these hybrid / mcdojo type classes and school and the parents and kids get ripped off and get given false hope!!

  • mma is acctualy one of the most traditionally taught arts...

  • MMA is not an art in itself, MMA is a Mix of different traditionmal Martial Arts, this is why it is called MIXED MARTIAL ARTS, and why does every one rave about it so much, it is brutal, has no style, scrappy, and most people who comment on YouTube saying "oh yeah MMA kicks ass"-"MMA is the real deal"-"An MMA guy would kick his ass" oh please behave, if you never had the intial Traditional arts you would never have had MMA, simple's!!!

  • idiiot i do mma, and its mixed for a reason its ground fighting and hand cmobat, ur karate and taekwando etc are sad now they dont even teach the old traditial methods any more its all about flashy kicks and combat that are usless to defend ur self with on the streets, mma doesn't d that we acctuely can defend out selfs if attacked, ur pathtetic, and wtf u make no sense, the attitude depends on the fighter, ur pathetic

  • Ok, have I got personnel and started calling people names, or even personally slagged YOU off, no I dont think I have, did I say I did Karate or Taekwondo, I think I make perfect sense, to be honest, or even did I make any reference to YOU as a person in anyway shape or form, no I didnt. If you like I could get personnel, but you know what I wont drop myself to your level. Just merely putting my point across.

  • .... most dont have the right to comment as they do MMA from their armchairs thinking they know it all, and clearly dont. I do however agree that yes the attitude depends of the fighter, but you also have to have the attitude to be able to comprehend the complexities of certain arts, and not just bludgeon someone in a cage or in the street. So all this said once again start getting personnel old chum, fine, dont expect me to sink to your level, as I did not direct ANY comments about YOU!!!

  • buddy stop typing like ur so smart casue ur paragraphs make no sense really...

  • I thought the made perfect sense to be honest, bearing in mind the job(s) I do, and to be honest its obvious you cant come back with a sensible reply, going on what you have just written. Nuff said. I now end-eth my comments.

  • yo buddy ur grammer structure sucks ass, aswell as ur comback , attitude... thats all dependent upon the fighter u retard, being able to comprehend complexities of certain arts.... that makes NOOO sense, being a part of mma doesn't magicly give u ego or attitude its all about dicipline, im sure some boxers or wrestlers prolly have attitude towards mma aswell,

ur prolly no ur a dumb ass and the atttitude thing was just a waste of my time...

go learn something and try to understand shit

    ur sad.

  • my grammar sucks, hmm ok have a read back of what you have just wrote, check the spelling, oh dear, once again you have to get personnel dont you. 22 years on the mats in a dojo, coming out black and blue sometimes, living in Japan for 1 year then back in the UK for 2 etc etc..... I think that counts as learning something to be honest. I learn everyday, either from myself, or my students, and everyday people I meet, either at work or in the street.

  • ... get a video camera, hand to a friend, get in the cage or ring, have some fun, get mad, open a can of whoop ass on your opponent, post it up here for the world to see. Then I'll be impressed. And before you start, no I dont have any to put up myself, I dont feel the need to show off. Enough people know me and what I do, so its all good really.

  • in fact wana hear summit funny, a local (ish) MMA chamo kicked off the club where I am head doorman, after 10 minutes of talking to the knob jockey he still did not want to leave, he then left, Very Rapidly!!! with me attached to him, making him squeal like a pig and for his mummy!!! MMA and XMA is for people have not got the attitude, attention, or ability to stick to one or more arts and study properly each one for its own individual merits. I blow my nose in MMA's direction!!!!

  • that was supposed to be MMA champ, sorry, anyways most people the comment on here saying MMA is best, please get of your sofa's and get on the mat, or in a ring or summit, because of most of you dont even train, and have not right to comment or pass judgement, simples!!!

  • By training just one art you're placing a limit on your own cababilities. pal. It's pretty sad that some1 who's so much in Martial Arts just won't develop his skills above the level limited by ones Martial Art - like Karate, Taekwon-do or w/e. XMA ain't disgrace, i bet some1 who's been in XMA for years would knock you out before you've realized what happened. But yes, in fact, XMA's mostly a showoff.

  • On the other hand MMA is essence of many martial arts, of moves developed through ages of Martial Arts history, and guess what, mostly the best of them. Now, considering you're comments on it, you're nothing more than a sad ignorant. It's true that many people are trying to show off saying they're training MMA, w/e. But honestly, i bet you've never fought some1 who's really into MMA. You can't judge MMA, ever. It's not an art, just like you said. Every fighter is developing his own style

  • (pardon, Your* in the last comment) Actually MMA is pretty much like JKD, i doubt you'd criticise Jeet Kune Do - if you would, then it'd seem you truly are foolish. If It goes about "bludgeoning" some1 on the street, i bet you'd to the same knowing that if you try to play, do some funky patterns or w/e you'd probably get your ass kicked. Man, why do i care... I think you just lost yourself in ur own comments and wanted to get out with the upper hand, even tho it became pure bullshit. w/e, later

  • Did I ever say that I train in just one martial art, never been knocked out since training since the age of 14, I'm 36 now, hmmmm, I train in wing chun, Iwama ryu aikido, kenjutsu, batto jutsu, krav maga. So I would say I am pretty versatile to be honest. Boards and slate tiles dont hit back, and what does jumping around like a loon, throwing your legs in the air aimlessly prove, nothing really!

  • no way i du xma m8 and karate is liek the main point without its its difficult to get many moves bexasue u dont have the training to know how 2 take this stance etc

  • much agreed. XMA is glorified gymnastics, martial arts is incredibly awsome when done on it's own. But if you look at the technique, stance, and training of XMA people, it just isn't there in my opinion. And that is an opinion, if you have one different, then whatever.

  • xma is just a joke with zero aplicability. its not even gymnastics.

  • unfortunately enough...this is wat gets you noticed in tournaments....there is no real focus on traditional forms anymore...... this is gymnastics....not martial arts....

  • what does it take to learn this stuff im really interested

  • well... it takes years, its not that easy ; )

  • You just gotta start training hard, and maybe watching some tutorials, because they really help, in couple of years of hard training you will be very good

  • If you want to learn cool kicks, go to taekwondo.

  • I don`t want to argue with you. Taekwondo really is effective unless you practise only sparring.

  • i've been in various martial arts including karate, jiu jitsu, kung fu, krav maga (though that's not a martial art) and 2 years in tae kwon do and i have found some of the kicks useful actually. no martial art is pointless and they are all very real. in fact the history behind tae kwon do is beautiful and if you look it up you might find it's one of the martial arts with the best philosophy

  • lol i was watching its kinda all made up of front flips and kicks + back flips and b-twists and gainers

  • This aint MA its fuckin gymnastics.

    This is such bullshit.

  • accually it is MA. its really more modern style tho

  • Since it is called the song?

    ¿Como se llama la canción?

  • es el sound track de piratas del caribe---

    saludos

  • pirates of the carribean?

  • 그의 프리킥 능력과 정확한 크로스는 보기에도 황홀합니다. Class of Karate Aoki

  • 히즈 프리킥 애빌리티 앤 펄팩트 크로스 아 판타스틱 투 워치. Aoki

  • one day these guys might have to right a really tall guy.....then who wil think what is funny?

  • GREAT!!!

  • im all of those put together. ha i wish i mean who wouldn't

whats with all the the point in XMA comments and stuff like that no really cares just search it on wikipedia

  • Just giving clarification that XMA is not typically used in real life scenarios or fighting situations that's all.

Couple people were discussing it on here, so I tossed some info up.

  • k then thats alright i ges but alot of people do it anyway on alot of videos with this shit in it

  • XMA was developed as a trademarked system in California, USA. It is based on existing martial arts programs and is focused more on performance/competition martial arts in conjunction with practical application. (the flashy stuff is to demonstrate level of skill, like gymnastics)

XMA combines martial arts styles and techniques in a more free range competition style. XMA trainers often become stunt performers or join pro competition circuits. It's pretty fun to watch and train in.

  • The name of the song is Pirates of Carribian Sea

  • nice video pretty cool i would say, but man you have to say wich are these martial arts in order, plz you have to tell, i'm searching for some way to learn these kind of movements and i don't know wich martial art to starting to learn, Really Nice Video ^^ i loved

  • I don't see martial arts here at all... just some nice acrobats. This is the typical type of things that happen in USA, you guys only have acrobats pretending they are practicing an exotic martial art... But as sport practitioners, there is no question you are good!.

  • SONG NAME PLZ REPLY not write on top

  • The movements are cool and fancy..but not suitable for a real street fight especially when the assailant is more than 1 and carried weapon..but i guess this type of performance are only for enriching one's knowledge of the art and improve their skills and accuracy..Anyway, cool vid..thanks

  • omg that its easy i can that...

  • I don't think so homo boy

  • xma aint nothing?

  • this is not martial arts just tricking

  • Yes, they call those martial arts trick samplers. Came out in like.. 2000. Anyways, XMA is nothing more but gymnastics, wushu, breakdancing mixed with karate and tae kwon do. Alone all those things are amazing, so why mixed do they make so many people unhappy? Get over it. =D

  • were not unhappy just that is kind of weird calling trick martial arts

  • I can name a dozen of 'tricks' that come from martial arts. Most either from wushu, taekwondo and capieora. Last i remember, those were martial arts... or.. did that change? =)

  • yes but the point is that all that trickery in capoeira is useful to the art itself (like the waving and staggering in drunken kung fu), it has a deep meaning wich help the fighter to actually hit the opponent and carry on a real fight according to a certain philosophy. the word ART in "martial art" is not for the sake of the movement, but for the sake of the fight. if a martial art can not express itself on a real fight, it's just dancing.

  • Point of martial arts does not rest in hitting but NOT being hit. Many styles use moves that needs no actual punching or kicking but simple moves that would resemble a dance. See, those tricks i could name are all evading moves. The twisting and flipping that come from wushu, capoeira and TKD have very little chance of effectively working in a fight but they're there. If these moves in the vids come from MAs, then whats the point? Looks? How many styles fall on tricking the eyes? Get over it.

  • yep I don't think so shitbird

  • im hoping to start doin that stuff:O

im 16. is that to late to start??

  • No. You will just learn it alot slower.

  • no evilandre, you shut your fucking face just because you learn slow doesnt mean other ppl will too.

  • Im 16 ive bin in karate for 7 and a half years. Its extremly fun and keeps you in shape ^^

  • 121sbetter, are you a blackbelt?

  • its never to late

  • whats the music name???

  • The music comes from one of the first two Pirates of the Caribbean movies. I'm pretty sure it's the second one.
