i have the sidekick now.the battery sucks so much,i have 2 of them.it makes tooo much noise.tmobile no longer offers the sidekick data plan that costs $20 a month.overall the phone is average.

@andrew35945 you might get one from a T-Mobile store near you. If you have problems with your normal battery then call T-Mobile and tell them your problem. They may give you a free battery for replacement if it is not wet.

U first go to tha main menu of the phone,[press the circle button located at the bottom of where the hearing piece is] while in main menu then press tha button on top of the hearing piece. it should say "settings" on top. click on it and go down where it says "Key Guard & Security" Turn on Privacy and put your three degit #. make sure its a three degit # u will all ways remember and nothing simple such as "123" or "000" (reply & answer to Kashay227 question) hoped i help :D

first off the new sidekick is very small. i was in a tmobile store and i did a side by side comparison with my lx and the new sidekick and honestly if ur going to upgrade to any kind of sidekick you might as well go all out.yea the lx is more expensive but in the longrun,you'll find the lx to be more satisfying.the whole customizing feature that comes with the sidekick will get old after a while and you wont really care about it.the phone will get dropped and the shells will get all scratched up

ok, I got the phone and I love it, its really cool. Exept I can't seem to get the Incoming Message Alert to work, whenever I get a message, It doesn't do anything. I set the alarm to repeat itself but this gives me the alert only 2 minutes after the message comes. Anyone know whats going on? Otherwise, this phone kicks ass.

number 1. the problem w. the sidekick dialing when u close it is a problem w. the guy - he doesnt know how to close it.

number 2. u can scroll whole pages on the Web by pressing the send and end keys. instead of moving per link, it will move a whole screen height down/up the page.

ps: its officially called 'Sidekick' the 2008 model, but its codename is Gekko.
