Awesome upload. At a time when black Americans didn't even have the same rights as white Americans, they still loved their country enough to fight for it in the air and prove they could. They had to be given their own squadron to do it since the "regular" squadron divisions didn't think blacks were capable enough. Bomber crews who originally feared being escorted by them soon requested the Red Tails.

NEGRO PILOTS! They where indeed a " an experimental" unit ! But they made a huge import , not a bomber lost during bomber protection runs!! Cudos!!
