  • Wow... What a blast from the past. I lived in Chattanooga as a 5 and 6 year old as my dad went to Tennessee Temple. then we moved to Dalton Ga. I remember all three of these programs and they DO bring back SO many memories. I remember one episode of SHOCK THEATER when there were GIANT CRABS and later when I went to bed I kept thinking there were crabs trying to crawl up the foot of my bed. Good memories.

  • 30 miles from chattanooga in ga i remember all these shows--thats how i found this -i was lookin for dr shock

  • I lived in Chattanooga as a child between 1964-73, so you might say I grew up on Channel 9's Miss Marcia in the mornings [before I was old enough to start school in '68] and Bob Brandy in the afternoons. I'm surprised they still had a few old color videotapes of those great shows.

  • Hi everyone, I'm putting together a documentary about TN horror hosts. If anyone has any clips of Dr. Shock or knows how I can get in touch with anyone involved with the show. thanks!

  • That clip from Bob Brandy is funny. Let the kids fight for those goodies!! Only the strong survive! No one was worried about some kid getting his feelings hurt back then!

  • I used to love me some Ms. Marsha. Watched it every morning. She was a nice looking woman.

  • I'd sure like to have that episode of "Bob Brandy" and some of those "Funtime" programs on DVD!

  • Only stills of Dr. Shock? I'm guessing no actual archival footage survives.

  • An excellent and insightful trip through TV history.
