@xPloSiVgT the terran out-macro'd him and did a lot of damage to his economy with those drops, but more importantly stayed ahead of him in money through most of the game and after setting up his gold he was just too far ahead and the protoss couldn't catch up

The reason ranged focused on upgrading armor this game is because qxc had ghosts, which made the Protoss shields useless. I have seen a lot of Protoss also focus on shields.

@trogdorburninating cuz the shield upgrade is just the shield recovery rate. i think the reasoning was at such a fast paced combat, he may as well just get more units, since he doesn't have much time to chill and recover shields.

@necoconecochan Shield upgrade does not effect recovery rate. The reason +armor is better is because its cheaper plus your units (besides Archons) will never have more shields than health. For example, once a Zealots 50 shield is gone, that shield upgrade is worthless, however an armor upgrade lasts through the 100 health.

I personally think that RaNgeD should've gone for blink when he realized that QXC was gonna do drops. It's a good way to pick of medivacs of course, but more imporantly it's just a GENERALLY useful ability to have for better surrounds and popping up to the high ground.

Perhaps he simply forgot about it, or perhaps I'm just missing the reason that he didn't want to get it.

it's bs how terran can always run to their nearst PF if a fight is going badly. for 150 / 150 PF does way too much damage and takes an army to kill. 250 /250 would be a more reasonable cost for some thing that can change a game.
