  • I remember the day I arrived it was cold, muddy and rainy! MISERABLE!! Remember when it rained? LOL!

  • This was a great festival, even though the weather was miserable at times. I remember someone got struck by lightning while using one of the pay phones (was okay, though). We got caught in one of the venues while a terrific storm raged over the tent cover and were pretty sure all of us were going to die in one big blaze of glory. LOL.

  • Oh my gosh! Yeah, those were the days. I was just watching my old VHS of 92. I went around "interviewing" people. It was so much fun. Met so many people from all over...

  • You should convert them to digital and post them! Who did you interview? Was it bands or just festival goers?

  • I did both. Gosh, let's see. I have little short ones with my friend Jaymes. He helped me out. John James in 92 from the Newsboys, Roger Martinez of Vegeance Rising, This guy from Novella, Jim Laverde of Barren Cross, just a bunch of festival goers - which was extremely fun! I have a lot of concerts, like the Newsboys in 92, Petra, White Heart, Holy soldier, Rez, DC Talk, Guardian, Crystavox (I don't have the full concerts, though)..So many..so many..

  • @Michelle062970 you wouldnt my the slim chance have any footage of scapegoat we played the new band stage on the second day i think in 1992

  • Oops! I just read the above a little more carefully, and just noticed that you said you were planning to convert to digital.

    Sooo....

    whacha waiting for? :)

By the way, I've only been twice. It's quite a long haul from Texas. I really must go again.

  • Yeah but I don't think it's the same as it was when we went. I still get flyers sent to my mom's house and I checked out the bands. There are a lot listed that I don't even know! LOL!

I'm working on someone to get the conversion done for me. Hopefully soon and I'll let you know! God bless!

  • Cool! I'd be happy to see them! I'm with you, though... I still like the old bands best (Phil Keaggy, The Choir, Lost Dogs, along with the names you listed above), though there are some good ones around today. I need to track down some of my old albums and tapes to see if they are available on CD now.

  • Ok, I have my VHS tapes converted to DVD. However, now I'm having difficulty converting the DVDs to AVI files. I've tried MPEG Streamline, and the stupid program speeds up the video portion, while the audio is way behind. It's very frustrating. I tried converting to MPEG itself, but the program I use to edit the clips doesn't read it. What do you suggest. (Anyone???) I'm hoping my next door neighbor will help me out, but he's been busy with other projects.

  • Wow! Thanks for sharing. Cornerstone in the early 90s were the best! I have piles of VHS tapes of Cornerstone 1990-1996 just waiting to be converted to digital!

  • Nice video. I'll be checking for more!!!
