  • hey jon i have your 7mm i have been using it for passed 2 weeks my weights and reps all went up by minimum of 2 reps for all exercises in one week. im just curious i train in martial arts 2-3 times a week, do you think i may overtrain by using your program aswell? at the moment im doing your 7mm 2 days a week, day legs/shoulders day 2 chest and back. i have left out arms, i thought i would still gain a decent amount of mass on arms even without isolating them do you agree? i use your eodd aswell

  • so which plan helps to maintain muscle the most?

  • They all maintain muscle, but Radical Fat Loss Blueprint (comes with EODD.... just look in your members section) contains supplements to help 'gain' muscle during the 21-day cycle. As for normal EODD, it depends on the individual, but Extreme kicks butt for muscle.

  • thank you for your reply. I appreciate it. I think I will go with the Extreme Plan next week. haha.

  • hello jon, i have bulked up for the past 3 months and want to cut down now. will using EODD help to maintain my muscle mass while burning off the fat?

  • Better than anything you've ever tried... no joke. I use it 'exclusively' when cutting down. AND if you use the supplements recommended in RFLB you'll actually gain muscle at the same time. everyotherdaydiet [ dot ] com/oto.php

  • thanks for the reply. I guess I will stick to EODD. I kinda hate bringing tupperwares everywhere I go. Just a few more questions. I don't use whey protein powder. So for the morning shake, can I use milk(10.4g of protein and 22g of carb per 200ml) with egg whites to fill the protein requirements? And will using the primer plan help to cut fat slower than the extreme or lifestyle plan?

  • I never do... just a cooler, but that's part of the fitness lifestyle.

    1. Yes, but I'd try egg white protein.

    2. Yes, that's the purpose for the different plans. Primer is slower but 'steady' fat loss; the other plans accelerate fat loss.

  • I have to give up deadlifts, but I do everything else pretty heavy, so I would say I am almost completely healed with no surgery, or any other intervention! ;-)

You are one of my inspirations, so keep the vids and blog posts coming!

  • This is Sean btw...

  • Thanks Sean!! Good to hear... : )

  • Thanks Jon! Hey, I sent you an progress photo recently and it is now been a year since my herniated disc. I look better now then I did just before the injury! YES, I worked out as soon as I could walk! As a matter of fact, I started doing body weight exercises almost immediately so I could get ready to lift again. Then took it slow and easy until I got my strength back.

  • I will check it out. I do know that cancer cells die in the presence of oxygen. I'm curious as to the studies to support this claim, however, so I'll do some digging.

One thing is for sure: Increasing the amount of oxygen to each cell of your body is crucial. Long-duration activity is NOT the best way to to it. Short, intense bursts is better as your body cannot adapt to it.

  • Jon Benson, You are an awesome inspiration for this 41 year old overweight man. I love you brother!

  • Thanks man!

  • Imitation is the greatest form of flattery haha. You da best, Benson.

  • Thanks tattypatty... : )
