I think when it comes to these VS movies, I am just looking at it like a fight in the cage. I don't give a sh.t about the story or all the BS! Just put on a good fight! But, your points are valid and they should'nt rush scenes if the don't make sense. Damn my comments are good! lol jk

They could've done a lot more with the story, than what they did. Like you mentioned the predator hunting the humans etc. And the flaws throughout the movie. It almost seems like this was done half assed! Everything about the story and concept has a lot of potential to be an awesome scifi/action movie. I'd give this a 3/10 just because it has some nice scenes.

yeah the PG-13 rating does put the first nail in the coffin. AVP 2 was good I agree. If Robert Rodriguez wants to make another Predator movie that "could be cool" but they SHOULD NOT remake Predator.
i have both,i didn't care much for the first one but,the second one lived up to my expectations,they could have done a lot more with the aliens and predator franchise by themselves i feel
Two "monster" icons going at it, it's a just an enjoyable carefree sci/action flick in my opinion, something to pop on and not think about, just pure cheesey fun. I will say the lighting was a little too dark in some scenes. I wish they would have developed more as well. Certaintly not as good as any of the Aliens movies or Predator series either. It's no masterpiece but I wouldnt classify it as "bury it in the backyard" bad, but that's just my opinion.

Hey no problem, I enjoy hearing other people's thoughts on movies, especially if they differ from my own. Sometimes other's opinions/aspects can show me something that I can appreciate in a movie that I normally wouldnt have considered.

AVP was rated PG-13 enough said! AVP 2 was good I liked it alot. Also heard Robert Rodriguez is "rebooting" PREDATOR

I personally liked AVP, but hated AVP2.
