I have read her book, and found it sort of dissapointing. I did not find her comments to be in any way, tender about George. She had a lot to deal with being the wife of a Beatle, and she chose to leave it for Eric Clapton, and pretty much got the same situation personified. These were her choices, and now she is cashing in on them............:::SIGH::: oh well! A good way to make a buck in her golden years.

What Pattie is speaking of is actually also in her memoir that includes her life with George and what REALLY happened and why she and George divorced. This interviwer must have read her memoir pretty thoroughly, because the questions are pointed but not offensive. I read some of it and she write of her life with George with much tenderness. SHe also explained that although they were very young when they married, they equally shared responsibility for their marriage ending as it did.

Well, you have to understand that this was one of a series of interviews at Beatles Fest. Patty's relationship with George and with Eric Clapton are the major substance of her book, and much of her income probably comes as a result of those relationships. To Beatles fans, this is not gossip or superficial details.
