Cut them some slack. "Pro-Wrestling" has been in business for well over 100 years. They are doing the best they can to keep it fresh and interesting. The mystique of "fake or real" has for the most part been "officially" revealed. (as in, they don't try to hide it in interviews etc) It's not easy to entertain for 175 televised shows a year, not to mention the non-televised events. Oh yeah...and that is just one promotion.

Wrestling is fake and i have no problem with it! Its scripted and stage fighting with sound effects! I enjoy it and i am training to be in the WWE. We get how its fake. We already know. The latch is supposed to be a safety. The stagehands did not completely lock the side lever down. Hence you see the "tounge" retract. I put together many sounstages and shows. Standard 3 pillar set. Someone didn't double check their work. Last but not least you would duck too if a 600lb sign were to fall your direction

If a 500lb man punches you in the face for "real", you'll see quite clearly the difference between "fake" and "real". A real punch could (and at 400lbs, quite probably would) kill you. A "fake" punch hurts, but the intention isn't to put you in the hospital.

Cut them some slack. "Pro-Wrestling" has been in business for well over 100 years. They are doing the best they can to keep it fresh and interesting. The mystique of "fake or real" has for the most part been "officially" revealed. (as in, they don't try to hide it in interviews etc) It's not easy to entertain for 175 televised shows a year, not to mention the non-televised events. Oh yeah...and that is just one promotion.
